Tell us about yourself.

Hi, I grew up in Kentucky, and moved to California three years ago. I am 18 years old and I was born in May. I love traveling and exploring different cultures.

Tell us about your modeling experience. 

I started modeling three years ago. I began by building my portfolio with different photographers. I then started submitting my portfolio and doing freelance work. The more work I got, the more brands would reach out to me, and it was all very exciting. As a freelance model, I  was surprised to have gotten the opportunity to work with Google. I knew that I fell in love modeling when I walked in London’s Fashion Week, it was a lot of fun. Throughout my modeling journey, I have met a lot of wonderful people, and I am excited to continue! 

What is your biggest dream?

As a model, my biggest dream is to walk in Victoria’s Secret fashion show or for Chanel. As a humanitarian and environmentalist my biggest dream is to help various causes in any way I can. As a student, my biggest dream is to graduate college. I have a lot of big dreams and I only hope to live them and spread as much love and joy as possible while I’m doing that. 

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

To be your own kind of beautiful to me as a unique phrase because beauty is in the eye of the beholder. To me, beauty comes from how a person carries themselves, their compassion, and empathy towards others. True beauty comes from a person’s spirit and radiates outwardly so we are all our own kinds of beautiful. 

How would you describe your fashion style?

I love fashion, and how it can transform the mood of a person.  I dress depending on how I feel that day. If I am feeling lighthearted I will wear light colors and flowy textiles. If I’m feeling edgy I will wear darker designs that I feel good in. To me, fashion is all about feeling good and confident in any situation. 

Who or what inspires you?

I am inspired by many different things, but mostly nature inspires me. I like to go for walks and listen to birds.  Nature always soothes my spirit and allows my creative energy to flow resulting in inspiration.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

My advice to anyone that is starting modeling is to stay positive and optimistic always. 

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

I have overcome many obstacles in my life. One being my family separation it taught me to be loving and empathetic towards everyone I meet. Another obstacle I faced was moving 3000 miles away and starting fresh. It was difficult and kind of scary at first. This taught me that I can adapt to almost any environment. I feel as if there is no obstacle that I can’t overcome. I feel as if overcoming isn’t so much on the outside as it is on the inside.  

What makes you beautiful?

The light and compassionate energy that I try to bring when interacting with each individual is what makes me beautiful. Above all the journey that I am on is beautiful, and I hope to make beautiful moments that I can look back on someday.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

I would say that confidence is more attractive than outward appearance. Also, that by being yourself you are internally and externally wealthy because you are you. Your true power lies within yourself so you must believe in you even when times are tough.
