Tell us about yourself.
Hi, my name is Mia and I’m a 14 year old dancer/model from Phoenix Az. I am also an aspiring ballerina who began ballet training at the age of three. I began to pursue modeling in order to help pay for my training and fell in love with modeling as well. Ballet is still my first love but, I love getting my make up and hair done, wearing awesome outfits, and doing photo and video shoots. It’s a lot fun!
Tell us about your modeling experience.
I have mostly being doing print work as a fitness model for dance and activewear brands as well as being a social media influencer. Music video Dancer/actress having been featured in “Beauty in the Benz” with Tory Lanez and “My Best Life” with Atlantic record’s newest artist PJ.
What is your biggest dream?
I am an aspiring ballerina and hope to become a World class Principal ballerina dancing with The American Ballet Theatre. ABT
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
Being unapologetically me. I am my own competition and I work to improve myself everyday. “This is me! God has given me all of the talent and gifts I need to succeed. I am beautiful because I am made in his image.”
How would you describe your fashion style?
Stylish activewear is my favorite but, I love being dramatic and girly too.
Who or what inspires you?
God inspires me to make a difference in this world through my love of dance. Seeking his will for my life.
What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?
Be you. Your originality is the most beautiful part about you.
Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.
Ballet training is very expensive and it has been a financial hardship for my single mom to be able to provide the level of training I needed. We sacrifice a lot so that I can pursue my dreams but, it only makes me stronger. I know that God will provide.
What makes you beautiful?
I am one of a kind, and that’s a beautiful thing.
What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?
Don’t listen to the haters. They will always be around but, let them fuel you and use it for motivation. Find strength in God and through your family and true friends.
