Tell us about yourself.

Hi I’m Ceanna! I am 17 years old. I was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. I am a senior at Spain Park High School. I often play golf and draw on my free time. I am studying interior design when I graduate high school and once I turn 19 I want to get my real estate license. I have always wanted to model for years and now my dream is coming true.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Honestly, what makes you beautiful is you being you. In their own way, everybody is beautiful. It’s nothing but feeling beautiful in your own skin and loving your own mistakes, and God made you one. You are special, you believe in yourself, and your character makes you look stunning, not just physical. Self-love is the love that is the strongest.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

My advice is to go for it, throw yourself out there, and be true to yourself, no matter what someone says or does, to someone who is just getting into modeling. Throw your insecurities out the way. Your confidence will show through your work and nothing is more beautiful than that.

How would you describe your fashion style?

Fashion has always been important to me. The way I would describe my fashion style is simple, comfortable, athletic, and of course my favorite, streetwear. I also love getting dressed up, high fashion, and business casual so I guess I would consider my fashion style all the way around!

Who or what inspires you?

My parents inspire me. They taught me at a young age that I can do anything I set my mind to. No matter what I do my parents are always encouraging and cheering me on to do my best. Even if I fail, they are always there for me. My parents are the strongest and loving people I know.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

For those who struggle with self confidence, you should surround yourself with others that lift you up, love and inspire you. Stepping out of your comfort zone isn’t easy, but doing new stuff will help you develop trust in what you can accomplish.

What if your biggest dream?

My biggest dream in life is to see and experience as much as I can. I hope to be successful in anything I choose to do and to make my family proud. My dream would be to help my family out and pay them back for everything they have ever given to me. I hope to be an inspiration to other people one day.

What makes you beautiful?

What makes me beautiful in my opinion is my heart. I care deeply for others and I wish goodness on everybody even if they have made mistakes because we are all human. In life I strive to be the best version of myself and that is why I am beautiful.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

As I went through middle school and on through high school, my peers all thought I had anorexia when really my body is naturally skinny. This used to really bother me and get to my head but over time I have learn not to be swayed by the opinions of others. I have focused on myself and my true beauty and feel that everyone should love their bodies and not worry about what others think.
