Tell us about yourself

I like to go by the name Rackim as my stage name. It incorporates all my 3 original names. I am 26 years old and I am from Kenya. I am  on a journey where beauty meets resilience, where every stride tells a story of determination, and where dreams transform into tangible realities.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I have enjoyed a diverse range of modeling experiences. I’ve portrayed a princess in a stunning garden photoshoot, showcasing an elegant gown. At Studio1 in Dallas, I had a fantastic time working with a friendly team, capturing memorable images. Additionally, I participated in a commercial project for a projector launch, involving both video and photo shoots that highlighted the product in use and its features.

What is your biggest dream?

In a world that often seeks to confine us within predefined molds, I want to stand as a beacon of authenticity, advocating for the beauty of diversity and the strength found within vulnerability. That’s my dream

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

My own kind of beautiful is being unapologetically yourself. Embracing who I am while I still find out who I am and loving that person and shinning as myself.

How would you describe your fashion style?

My style is something that when I put on I can confidently say “this is me”, it calls to me and makes me happy. I look at it and I say “yes that’s what I want”

Who or what inspires you?

There are many great people to look up to and that inspires people and the world and I appreciate that. But they all had a journey of their own to get there. My future self inspires me. I sit down and I think “I can’t wait to meet my future me.” The future and all its possibilities inspires me. So I work hard to meet my inspiration. My future me who will be living her dreams. I trust and believe in that.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

Be confident and proud of yourself . Do not feel little or discouraged. The future is bright and this is just the beginning. All you right now is the present so make the best out of it and be kind to yourself. You have yourself 24hrs a day. You are unique and your time is just around the corner .

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

Who I am is what makes me beautiful.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

It’s okay to be yourself. Who you are is the you within and you need to let the you within shine. Be kind and love you, that’s the confidence you need. You are enough
