Tell us about yourself:

My name is Zoe L. i’m from Decatur Alabama and i am 17 years old. i’ve always been interested in entertainment. I’m definitely more on the creative/ artsy side i would say. i love the beach, painting, and being around my girl friends.

Tell us about your modeling experience:

I just recently started trying to get into modeling. I’ve done modeling for small boutiques around my hometown but that’s  about it so far. I’d love to get way more into it though.

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to be genuinely happy with life. i want to be able to provide for my family and i want to love my job as well. i’d also like to live in Italy one day.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

I think what “being your own kind of beautiful” means just being you. Don’t let others take away your spark and don’t hide away from what makes you happy. Also, what’s on the inside 100% counts as well.

How would you describe your fashion style?

My fashion style is a little bit of everything. I probably lean more towards street style/ edgy looks but at the same time i love coastal/ beachy. I will say I love dark colors.

Who or what inspires you?

My mom inspires me a lot. She is most definitely the only reason I ever even applied in the first place. I would’ve been too scared with out her.

What advise would you give to someone who is just getting started in modeling?

Considering I’m just getting started with modeling I don’t have very much great advice but I would say just be yourself. Don’t worry about what others will say because if you love doing it then do it. Don’t let anyone shake you down.

What are some obstacles you have overcome and how have they changed or shaped you?

I had an extremely rough time with school. It wasn’t the work necessarily but the environment. the people there could be so rude, but, at some point I learned to finally ignore it and just live my life how I wanted to. I am way happier than I ever was before

What makes you beautiful?

I think what makes me beautiful is the way I treat people. Before I do anything I always remember the golden rule which is “treat people how you wish to be treated.” I am a very empathetic person as well so I’m always looking out for people and making sure that they’re okay. Even if I’m not. I’d rather help someone out then help me first.

What would you say to someone who is struggling with their confidence?

If someone my age was struggling with confidence I would literally tell them to stop listening to social media. A lot of people struggle with how they look nowadays and I feel social media is a huge factor. It is hard to just ignore it but there is so much editing and filters that just make things look “perfect.” I would also hype them up definitely because honestly I love to.
