Tell us about your modeling experience.

I am 15 years old from originally from Connecticut but moved to North Myrtle Beach, SC 4 years ago! I started modeling 2 years ago and from my first runway show at Miami Swim Week, fell in love with it! In 2022, I was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. At the time, sports were my entire identity! I was unable to play sports anymore due to my chronic illness, so my mom and I came up with the idea of modeling! As a kid, I’ve always loved fashion and modeling but sports were always my main priority so this was a blessing in disguise!

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to walk the runways of Milan and Paris Fashion week!

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Having Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis showed me nobody’s perfect! If you were to look at me or have a conversation with me, you would never be able to notice. This showed me everyone has imperfections and that makes them beautiful and unique in their own ways.

How would you describe your fashion style?

I would describe my fashion style as very elegant, artsy, and beachy!

Who or what inspires you?

My chronic illness inspires me the most! My goal is to show everyone that they can do anything they put their mind to or achieve it in some way possible.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

Make sure you get your digitals!!! Digitals are essential when submitting to agencies, going to castings, and booking a photoshoot!

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

When I was first diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, I was devastated. I couldn’t play sports anymore and didn’t know what to do with my life. My mom has always been my biggest supporter and when I introduced the idea of modeling, she was super supportive!

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

We all have strengths and weaknesses and I think both of my strengths and weaknesses make me beautiful!

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

At the end of the day, people are not gonna remember what you didn’t do, they are going to remember what you did do! So don’t let anyone judge you or bring you down, go be yourself!
