Tell us about yourself: 

My name is Anna W. and I’ve lived in Oklahoma my whole life. I’m 19 and I’m currently a junior at the University of Central Oklahoma. My major is Chemistry Health Sciences with a minor in Math. I love being outside, traveling, and hanging out with my dog and cats.

Tell us about your modeling experience:

I’ve always been interested in modeling but didn’t pursue it until I did my senior pictures and saw how much I enjoyed it. I also did a photoshoot/modeling class with Allie Ayers and Kendall Kiland and it taught me a lot.

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream would be to do commercial modeling with skincare/ clothing brands. I would also love to make a difference in animal welfare someday!

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

To be your own kind of beautiful is to accept your flaws and have self-love/ confidence.

How would you describe your fashion style?

My fashion style consists of a lot of comfy pieces with earthy/ neutral tones

Who or what inspires you?

My mom has always inspired me to be hard-working and disciplined.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

Some advice I would give to someone starting with modeling is to go in with confidence and also don’t let rejection discourage you.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you:

In high school, I struggled with a severe eating disorder and mental health issues. Over the years I’ve gained much more confidence and adopted a healthier mindset.

What makes you beautiful?

What makes me beautiful is my heart and personality. I always try to be kind to everyone I meet and show compassion wherever I go.

What would you say to another girl your age who is struggling with their confidence?

I would say that someone else’s beauty does not take away from yours.
