Tell us about yourself

I waa born in Toronto, Canada but moved frequently. I had the privilege of living in numerous cities, including Chicago and New York City. I currently live in Ann Arbor, Michigan. My modeling career took me by surprise. I actually come from a family of refugees, and I dedicated my life to trying to help and assist others. I became a practicing human rights lawyer with a focus on refugees, victims of domestic violence, and trafficking. I was assisting a refugee who happened to be a prominent fashion designer in Nigeria, who liked my look, said I was very tall, told me I should be a model, and took a couple photos of me. Next thing I know I started building a career, getting cast in runway shows, and landing campaigns.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

My journey in the world of fashion began with humble steps but quickly escalated into a whirlwind of runway shows (including walking multiple times for New York Fashion Week) magazine spreads (including being the cover model for an editorial fashion magazine) and glamorous shoots for print and commercial campaigns. I've had the privilege of working with renowned designers and photographers.

What is your biggest dream?

To leave an indelible mark on the fashion industry, not just as a pretty face, but as a force of change and inspiration. I aspire to redefine beauty standards, champion diversity, and empower individuals to embrace their uniqueness.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Being your own kind of beautiful means owning your flaws, quirks, and imperfections with unapologetic confidence. It's about celebrating what sets you apart and realizing that true beauty transcends conventional standards.

How would you describe your fashion style?

A fusion of sophistication and edginess.

Who or what inspires you?

Nature, music, art—every facet of life holds the potential to ignite my imagination.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

Stay true to yourself, persevere through the inevitable setbacks, and never underestimate the power of hard work and dedication. Have fun along the way and enjoy all the new experiences!

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

Coming from a family of refugees has been a profound journey filled with obstacles that have shaped my path in becoming a human rights lawyer. Despite facing uncertainty, I've embraced these challenges as opportunities to advocate for marginalized communities. Witnessing injustices firsthand has fueled my passion for social justice, driving me to use my privilege and platform to empower those in need. Each hurdle I've overcome has deepened my empathy and strengthened my resolve, reminding me that our past does not define us, but rather, it's how we confront adversity that shapes our future.

What makes you beautiful?

Beauty is not just about physical features or outward appearances—it's about who you are as a person. For me, I try to be kind, compassionate, and authentic.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

To anyone struggling with their confidence, know that you are worthy, you are deserving, and you are enough just as you are. Embrace your uniqueness, celebrate your strengths, and remember that true beauty emanates from the depths of your soul. You are a masterpiece in the making—never forget that.
