Tell us about yourself

I grew up in Seattle, WA but moved to New York City in the fall of 2021. I am currently a junior at New York University majoring in Drama! I grew up as a dancer and have always loved to perform and create. Besides the performing arts I also love to hike and camp around Washington when I come home to visit.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I am a newcomer to the world of modeling but I hope to do both print and runway in the future!

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream at this point in my life is to feel fulfilled by what and who I surround myself with. Growing up I always had this vision of who I would be in the future, and if I didn’t achieve this goal I would never be successful in life. I have since learned that overarching goals or dreams are not always necessary to enjoy the things you are passionate about. Sometimes it is better to live in the moment and focus on making every day fulfilling.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

To be my own kind of beautiful means allowing yourself to realize that beauty is a spectrum. Two people can both be beautiful and look completely different at the same time. Being beautiful is a state of mind.

How would you describe your fashion style?

I would describe my fashion style as whatever I feel like it should be that day. Sometimes I wake up in the mindset that I will be walking a runway in the next hour while other days I throw on an oversized t-shirt and biker shorts and walk out the door. But I will always remain a firm believer that comfort and style can certainly co-exist.

Who or what inspires you?

Music inspires me every single day. If I had to go a day without singing, dancing, or listening to music I think I would nearly die. I think every type of music is beautiful and I love how a song can tell a whole story all on its own.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

My advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling (which includes myself) is to not change yourself to please others. Pleasing yourself should always be the priority.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

In my life I have dealt with a lot of body image issues. Growing up a dancer I constantly would compare myself to those around me. I lacked self confidence in both my appearance and ability and let that get the best of me. I now have learned that looking the same as everyone else is not something I need to strive for. There is beauty in uniqueness.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

The fact that I believe I am beautiful.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence

We all live one life. Don’t waste one moment thinking you are less than. Stop trying to prove yourself, you have nothing to prove.
