Tell us about yourself
A little bit about myself, I moved to the Orlando area when I was 6 from South Florida and grew up going to the theme parks. I love traveling and experiencing new things. I currently work at a law firm with hopes of going to law school and becoming an attorney. I travel as much as I can, one of my biggest dreams is seeing all 30 MLB stadiums, so far I’m at 12! I’ve always been told I light up any room I walk into, with my bubbly personality I can be the life of any party and love making people smile.
Tell us about your modeling experience.
I’ve done a variety of photoshoots ranging from bridal, editorial, swim and boudoir. It all started in 2019 when I had the opportunity to help a local photographer build his portfolio with a shoot downtown. From there I joined groups and did some bridal styled shoots. I’ve also had the opportunity to walk a runaway for local fashion shows in Orlando. I’m hoping to grow more in the industry and walk more runways.
What is your biggest dream?
I biggest dream is going to Harvard Law School and becoming an attorney while also pursuing my love of fashion and modeling.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
Being our own kind of beautiful is living life the way that you know you should live it, without any worry of who will still be around when you do. Simply put, being your own kind of beautiful is being yourself daily!
How would you describe your fashion style?
I love wearing monochrome fashion with a pop of color sometimes. My closet consists of mainly neutrals and then some color pieces here and there. I don’t worry about the trends happening around me. I stay true to myself and what makes me feel beautiful.
Who or what inspires you?
My grandmother was always my biggest inspiration, she was a single mother of 6 kids and survived breast cancer. She never let anything hold her back, and that’s how I want to live my life. I want to do everything to the fullest and never let anything discourage me. Everything I do is in her honor, and I know she’ll always be with me.
What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?
Just do it. I dipped my toe in the water in 2019 and then never fully pursued it till 2023 because I finally realized I was the only thing holding me back from reaching my full potential. For years my friends and family told me to submit to agencies and I regret not listening sooner. Don’t be the reason you dreams don’t come true.
Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.
My self-confidence has always been my biggest obstacle because I’m constantly comparing myself to everything I see around me on TV, social media, everyday life, etc. It took a while to get to a point where I stopped comparing or competing with the women around me and finally began to love myself for who I was. I realized everyone is beautiful in their own way. It help me become more confident in everything I do. I used to hate public speaking but now I’m the one encouraging my friends to get on stage and so karaoke! It helped me in my relationships also, I used to have so much anxiety within my relationships and would always self-sabotage, but now I know my worth.
What makes you beautiful/handsome?
Natural and real beauty creates from within the heart of individuals. When a real beauty develops, it is expressed as a charming, attractive, and glamorous soul that is hard for one to contain. If a lady is beautiful on the inside, she is also beautiful on the outside because her body is an expression of soul and mind. I love to think my personality and how I treat others is the reason I get called beautiful.
What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?
Don’t worry about what others are doing on social media, we are our biggest critics. For YEARS, I struggled with my self-image because of social media. Always hating my body because I was “too skinny” or “too flat” when in reality, no one really cares that much about our appearance but US. I’m constantly being told how beautiful I am but never listened because I didn’t look like the Instagram “models” and “influencers.”
