Tell us about yourself

The short answer would be a small town girl with big town dreams , but that seems a little too ordinary, overused, and too much like a hallmark movie. Although I grew up living small, I always had my eyes set on one goal, happiness. Being just twenty two years old, I'm often underestimated. No one expects a young girl to be as goal driven as I am. I was born and raised in Memphis, TN and moved to Little Rock, AR with my mom watching her chase her dreams. Before my mom passed she reminded me of one phrase. “ Never be scared to jump. “ I find that phrase following me everyday. When I’m not modeling, I’m working in construction. A lot of people say “ you’re so lucky, you get to boss grown men around all day. “ but that isn’t my job, at all. I’m not scared of jumping down in the mud with them or running machinery to break the rules society has placed on women.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I’ve been modeling for around 2 years. I mostly do shoots for re-branding, or I’ve done some published ad’s.

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream… well, I’m living it. I have made everything that I’ve wanted to happen, happen. And that makes me very blessed. I own a car, a wonderful little home, I’m working my dream job, I get to live out my modeling dream, and above all, I am completely and ultimately happy.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

To be beautiful is to have confidence that’s self driven, happiness , and to be the kind of person you want/ wish for on this earth.

How would you describe your fashion style?

My fashion Monday through Friday is that of a construction worker. Saturday and Sunday though? I really love mixing colors and patterns that other people probably wouldn’t dare. I was told by one of the guys I work with “ you just have the confidence in what you love, and you’re fearless with it. “

Who or what inspires you?

This may sound selfish but , I inspire my self. I truly have it in my head that I can do anything and be successful and that inspires me to meet my goals. Inspiration for me comes from within.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

Don’t give up, believe in yourself, and above all, please be safe. You don’t have to be completely naked to be admired and successful in modeling. If you’re not comfortable, don’t do it. That one shoot will not make you a supermodel, so don’t force yourself.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

Growing up in a broken and abusive home, I struggled with a lot of things. Getting through the emotional , and physical trauma was hard. It’s taken me years to be able to feel like me again. To loose who you are and to fear the world is something I wish on no one, but it made me stronger. I lost everything and everyone around me and to loose them was to realize that they are what was keeping me from healing. This shaped me to choose who I let in my life, I feel more confident than ever, I’m happier than I’ve ever been, and I’m more successful that they ever dreamed I would be.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

Confidence from oneself ( not driven by others ) and happiness.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

Unfollow the models. Unfollow every girl or boy in your high school  that you compare yourself to. You’re going to feel silly but every single day look at yourself in the mirror and say what one thing is that you admire about yourself ( strength, eye color, humor, the way your nose scrunches when you laugh ) and say “ that is why I love you and that is why the world is so lucky to have you, because you are beautiful “ Selena Gomez once said she put a baby picture on her mirror and would remind herself, anything you say to your reflection, you’re saying to her… and that’s the best advice I’ve ever been given.
