Tell us about yourself :

I'm a 34-year-old Australian resident and have Pakistani roots. In addition to being a model I'm also a preschool/primary school teacher; a coffee addict and an intermediate level Salsa dancer

Tell us about your modelling experience.

I tried modelling in college for a fashion event and the whole experience was absolutely thrilling. There was no going back from that point! In Australia I was very fortunate to collaborate as a skincare model for 'Intraceuticals' along with gaining experience as a hand model for 7-Eleven and some other brands. I also got to create some tasteful and interesting content with a talented team of creatives (photographers, HMUA, stylists etc.) which can be found on my IG account (sandra.joseph24)

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to live a happy, healthy and fulfilling life with people I love; in a peaceful world

Also it wouldn't hurt to be a part of the Paris Fashion Week

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

To me it means owning yourself! No one is perfect but be kind to yourself and take measures to work on what makes you happy - because what makes you happy makes you beautiful

How would you describe your fashion style?

I'm big on experimenting with colours and cuts while never compromising on comfort and style.

Who or what inspires you?

Goal driven people inspire me; someone who has clarity in life and are working passionately towards their goals is always inspiring. I also find that people who show kindness to others inspire me to be a better version of myself.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modelling?

You only fail when you give up. Believe in yourself. Always remember 'What doesn't kill you makes you stronger'

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

Self-doubt and lack of confidence and were the biggest obstacles that I worked on and with the right/clear mindset I was able to overcome these obstacles.

I started putting my plans into action and taking one step at a time helped building my self-confidence.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

Best thing I usually wear is confidence and that makes me beautiful.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

Surround yourself with people who love you and want to see you succeed, talk to them when you feel low or lack confidence. Remember you are one of your own kind and there is no other 'you' anywhere on this whole planet!
