Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)
I am a 27-year-old entrepreneur, designer, and now model. Born and raised in Philadelphia, but have relocated to Miami, FL. I run a women empowerment club “Acceptance of Art” that promotes body positivity, self-love, etc. Along with that I’m designing my own intimate line “Nolita Nude”, that I’m looking to launch really soon. Whenever I’m not working or booked, I enjoy spending my free time with my family and friends.
Tell us about your modeling experience.
Honestly, I don’t have much modeling experience. Growing up my grandmother use to always tell me I should model, but I just had other plans at the time. Once I relocated it just kind of happened for me. Everyone looked at me as a model, and oppurtunite's just fell on my lap. This is my first time signing to an agency so I’m excited to see what Hannah Noelle has to offer for me.
What is your biggest dream?
My overall biggest dream is all my hard work paying off and I’m able to take care of my family.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
Being your own kind of beautiful to me is being true to yourself. Knowing exactly who you are, loving who you are, embracing who you are, and most importantly not letting the opinions of others validate you.
How would you describe your fashion style?
My fashion style depends on the mood I’m in, or where I’m going. But my go to/every day is COMFORT. So baggy sweats, sneakers or slides, and a crop top. Then sometimes you can catch me when I’m all dolled up
Who or what inspires you?
Honestly, I find inspiration in a variety of people and things.
What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?
I’m kind of just getting started myself, but what has helped me is just trusting God with your journey. If it's meant for you, he will make sure you don’t miss your blessings.
Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.
I think my hardest obstacle in life was feeling like I didn’t know my purpose. Before I left Philadelphia I had fell into depression because I couldn’t figure life out for myself. I had dropped out of college and quit or got fired from every job I ever had. Leaving myself to just feel stuck and not knowing what was next for me. Being in that space has given me strength like no other, and made it clear that was just a chapter in my life I needed in order to open a new one.
What makes you beautiful/handsome?
I feel like my confidence, intelligence, courage, passion, and ambition makes me beautiful.
What would you say to another guy/girl your age who is struggling with their confidence?
First, I would tell them YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL. Take the time to point out all the things you love about yourself verses the things you don’t love. Stop comparing yourself to others. God made and designed you in your own unique way, love who you are, love the skin you're in and embrace it.
