I am Peyton Strand from Loudonville, NY and I am 18 years old. I am very outgoing and I love playing beach volleyball.
Tell us about your modeling experience.
I have been signed previously to an agency in NYC since I was in middle school. It was a huge time commitment for me and a lot of dedication. I missed tons of school days to travel for shoots. I have previously been purely working in the commercial industry of modeling but hope to advance myself into runway.
What is your biggest dream?
My biggest dream is to become a pediatric dentist and walk in Miami Swim Week 2023.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
You need to always remember that other people's opinions don’t matter and to always embrace your true identity.
How would you describe your fashion style?
I feel like I am a mix of a lot of different styles, the best of both worlds. I'd also say that I'm comfortable wearing any style of clothing regardless of trends.
Who or what inspires you?
My Mom inspires me the most, due to the fact she has been my role model my whole life and is so incredibly smart and successful. What has inspired me is the opportunities that I was granted from my parents' hard work.
What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?
My advice would be just to be yourself. Being genuine and real is the most beautiful thing when it comes to the world of modeling. Don’t stress about being perfect because no one is.
Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you?
When I was younger I had the biggest gap in my teeth and it made me very self-conscious.
What makes you beautiful/handsome?
I used to be afraid to embrace my height, but now I see it as my unique beauty and it makes me stand out.
What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?
It took me a while to realize you can't properly change your appearance, but since embracing this I find ways to see my beautiful features and that truly I wouldn't want to change anything.
