Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)

My name is Jadyn Aniyah and I am 18 years old. I’m currently going back and forth between living in Ohio and Florida. Ever since I was little, I have been in love with fashion. Modeling became a dream of mine when I was about 11 years old. I knew that it was what I was going to do when I was older.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I do not really have any modeling experience. I wanted to wait until I graduated high school to pursue a modeling career.

What is your biggest dream?

I have a few big dreams. I want to walk at Paris and Milan Fashion Week. I also want to be able to model internationally and see the world.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

To me, being your own kind of beautiful means that you should not compare yourself to anyone else. When people compare themselves to others, it can cause damage to their mental health. Everyone should feel beautiful in their own skin.

How would you describe your fashion style?

This question is quite hard because it changes day to day. If I had to narrow it down, I would say it is like 90s Drew Barrymore meets present day 70’s fashion.

Who or what inspires you?

Naomi Campbell and Adut Akech inspire me. Both of their walks are so strong, and they have such hardworking attitudes that I strive to obtain.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

It might sound cliché but, staying true to yourself and being confident is key.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

Rejection can be hard to handle. That is why I never give up. I just learn, improve, and come back better.

What makes you beautiful/ handsome?

I would my personality is what truly makes me beautiful.

What would you say to another guy/girl your age who is struggling with their confidence?

I would tell them that although it can be difficult, loving yourself is the first step to gaining confidence in yourself.
