Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)

I am from Kansas City, Mo and I am 22 years old. I played basketball for 17 years until I decided to stop that path and focus on what was going to get me where I wanted to be in life.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I have been modeling for a little over a year now. I have been in multiple fashion shows and photoshoots. After my first season with KCFW I was asked to be their next season’s promotion model in May 2021. 2 photo’s from a shoot in November have been featured in Fienfh magazine.

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to be a role model for anyone who grew up being bullied like me. I want to be able to show them that they too can achieve anything they deserve.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Being your own kind of beautiful is loving who you are, inside and out. It also is not allowing others to dictate what you feel about yourself because you know your own worth.

How would you describe your fashion style?

My style really depends on my mood. It ranges from comfort to glam to street to edgy.

Who or what inspires you?

My parents, I see the work they’ve done for me so I work to make their lives easier.

Advice:
My advice to those who are just getting started is to just overcome the worries the you are feeling and be the confident person you are.

Obstacles I’ve overcome:
I was bullied from middle school through high school. I suffered from depression and anxiety throughout those years which hindered my mindset of achieving what I wanted. I overcame those by realizing that not everyone is going to love me but the important thing is I love myself and started acting upon things that I knew would make me happy.

What makes me beautiful:
What makes me beautiful is the way I learned to love myself and my strive to teach others that.

Others struggling with confidence:
I would tell them that I know it’s not the easiest but once you learn the things that make you happy and continue to do them then you realize that you are the only one who holds the key to your own happiness.
