Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)
My name is Emma, I moved to Florida 3 years ago. I’m 19 years old and currently a student at the State College of Florida. I also work as an interior design intern for Elizabeth Ashley Interiors.
Tell us about your modeling experience.
This is my first time working with a modeling agency, which I’m very excited for. My dad is a photographer, and he always took tons of photos of me growing up and I was always the “test model” for all his shoots for his job and portfolio.
What is your biggest dream?
My biggest dream is to become a successful interior designer and doing the job I love. Also, to get married and become a mother.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
To be your own kind of beautiful is to be confident and full of self-love. Giving gratitude to your body and mind and finding fun ways to express who you are.
How would you describe your fashion style?
I would describe my fashion style as basic with lots of staple items but includes girly touches.
Who or what inspires you?
My mom inspires me most because she is the most independent and brave person I know. She always goes for what she wants and inspires me to do so too.
What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?
Don’t be embarrassed to feel silly. It is good to get loose and goofy in order to feel comfortable with yourself. Most importantly, hype yourself up!
Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.
My biggest struggles are with my health. Both mentally and physically. I have anxiety and health conditions that I feel at times hold me back. It is important that I remind myself that I am more than my struggles. It helps me prove that I am strong and have so many amazing qualities and talents.
What makes you beautiful/handsome?
What makes me beautiful is the aspect of self-love. Those times where you tell yourself you are beautiful and strong are the ones where you feel and believe you are beautiful.
What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?
I would tell someone struggling with their confidence is that remember that you are not alone. Realistically everyone has flaws and struggles with confidence, even the most “perfect” people.
