Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)
Hi, my name is Ella I am 17 years old. I live in Lake Charles, Louisiana. My hobbies are cheerleading and modeling. I have been an all-star cheerleader for 10 years. I am a shy, loving and hardworking girl and I love to learn.
Tell us about your modeling experience.
I am just starting in the modeling world, so I do not have a lot of experience, but I have had the opportunity to work with some pretty great photographers. I am excited and dedicated to perfecting my skills and growing my career.
What is your biggest dream?
I would love to eventually model for some big campaigns for designers, makeup, etc.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
I believe being your own kind of beautiful starts with loving yourself. We need to realize we are all different and that makes each person beautiful.
How would you describe your fashion style?
My personal fashion style is best described as girly/ sexy/ glam. I love to dress up for any occasion, but I am open to any styles.
Who or what inspires you?
My family inspires me daily. They are my biggest supporters and encourage me daily to be my best self. Especially my mom, no matter how big my dreams are I know I have her support.
What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?
As a newbie myself, I would say don’t give up. No matter how long it takes to get going, keep believing in yourself and your dream.
Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.
I would say an obstacle I have to work on daily is being shy. Being an all-star cheerleader and a model and being shy is not a good combination, but each time I step on a cheer mat, stage, runway or in front of a camera I have to work on my fear and I have learned to overcome/ hide it.
What makes you beautiful/handsome?
Being myself, having a positive attitude and always being kind to people make me beautiful.
What would you say to another guy/girl your age who is struggling with their confidence?
I would say just believe in yourself. I know it’s easier said than done, but whatever your struggles are work on them daily. I work on overcoming my shyness with each modeling job and cheer event. Do not let self doubt stop you.
