Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)
I am 24 years old, from Minneapolis Minnesota.
Tell us about your modeling experience.
My interest in modeling started when I was selling merchandise for a local band. They had asked me to model the merchandise for a photo shoot. I WAS A NATURAL. I did what felt like a million photo shoots before landing my first opportunity in Minnesota Black Fashion Week. This opportunity was followed by my first official publish (Minnesota Bride Magazine)
What is your biggest dream?
I would love to be able to bring me and my people to a place of peace, health and wealth.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
Being confidently unique and unlike any other. Ones eyes can grow bored of seeing the same thing over and over. Bringing your own beauty is important to offset that.
How would you describe your fashion style?
I enjoy wearing black streetwear however, it doesn’t get better than suit and tie.
Who or what inspires you?
The growth I’ve made through the years has inspired me to believe that the potential in me is endless.
What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?
Network!! Be patience and trust the process. Nerves are excitement and when you have them it means you know the importance of the event. Trust the work you’ve put in.
Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.
I’ve struggled with loving my look and my body in the past. I was bullied growing up and I developed body dysmorphia. I’ve put countless hours into improving my health to be my absolute best and even at my best I’ve been flawed. I’ve learned to appreciate my flaws. It’s what makes me unique.
What makes you beautiful/handsome?
I believe I have a beautiful energy. My smile is intentional and spreads joy.
What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?
Imagine how everyone else feels being in the room with you and all of your beauty. Know that failing to try is failure and failing to succeed is practice for success.
