Hello! My name is Steven Homan and I am from Austin, TX. I am 18 years old and love working out, traveling, and creating content- wether it be videography or photography. I’m super outgoing and love to express myself through clothing.
Tell us about your modeling experience.
I am fairly new to the professional modeling world, however I have done quite a bit of personal modeling for my Instagram. From picking out an outfit all the way to posing, I have always enjoyed the modeling process so I can not wait to work with a professional agency!
What is your biggest dream?
My biggest dream is to become a lifestyle social media influencer who creates inspiring and purposeful content. As for modeling, my dream brands to work with are H&M or a designer brand.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
I believe everyone is beautiful in their own ways. Everyone is designed uniquely and perfectly by God and wether it is your appearance or personality, we are all beautiful in someway.
How would you describe your fashion style?
My style is very minimalist and trendy. I believe that you can dress well without having to buy expensive clothes. It is all about how you style it.
Who or what inspires you?
My biggest inspiration is Jesus and the disciplined life he lived. A close second are my parents, who have sacrificed so much for me. Through them I have learned hard work, persistence, and how to love.
What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?
My advice is to be confident. Looking good is all about confidence and once you can find that, you can rock anything.
Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.
Growing up, people always made fun of me for being skinny and trying new styles. At first it created a lot of insecurities, but through self-discipline I picked myself up. I started going to the gym and continued to develop my unique style. Eventually, it turned from people making hurtful comments to asking me for advice.
What makes you beautiful/handsome?
I believe my beauty is defined through God’s image. Wether it is my charming personality or dashing looks, I believe I am beautiful through his design.
What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?
We are beautiful in our own ways and it is up to you to define your own beauty. Also, don’t worry about what others think about you. The people who make fun of you the most are the ones who wish they had your level of confidence. Be proud of how you look and where you come from!
