My name is fanta keita and I'm a woman with goals to accomplish. At a young age I knew someday I will become a model influencer no matter what I go through in life I just know not to give up on what matters to me the most. Where I come from we don't have opportunities like this we don't have the resources and help that's why we travel a thousand miles to become a better person for the future and for my family. I love traveling the world and meet knew people. I also love advising young girls so that they can become the woman they are.
Tell us about your modeling experience.
My model journey has been rough but I managed to keep going and working hard. I been turned down so many times but that still didn't stop me cause I know if I want something I have to go get it. At the age of 17 I was jumping from train to train to New York just to have an agency sign me but at that time I thought it was that easy but no it's not i had to put more work in to it. So I stop going and start doing my research on "how to become a model" I watched serval of YouTube videos went to serval's modeling classes and it has helped me a lot and now that I know so much about modeling I still wasn't where I wanted to be so I started Instagram and at first I didn't know how to use Instagram cause I was just posting pictures without really figuring out Instagram. At that time I had so much going on with my private life so I really couldn't balance modeling and my private life at the same time it almost seems like I was lost and didn't know what I really wanted to do with my life. So I put a pause on my modeling career and focus on my private life. By the age of 21 that's when I decided to get back on Instagram and start my modeling career and I promise myself that no matter what I'm not going to give up. So I starting to research "how to use Instagram as a model influencer". That's when I told myself I CAN DO this so | start to use Instagram correctly I was not perfect at it but I was doing it little by little. Then few months gone by I started to get noticed and go my followers so I started making content and engaging with my followers. But Instagram was not the only place i was modeling I also collaborate with different photographers and upcoming clothing brands and also TikTok and Facebook I was just all over the place. And I also was applying to different modeling agencies company that's when I came across @Hannanoellemodel when I got an email from them I was overwhelmed with happiness.
What is your biggest dream?
My goal is to grow and inspire any young children that are following their dreams. I want to be someone else role model. I pray my surrounded is filled with positivity and blessings, happiness, fulfillment and with love.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
Being your own kind of beauty means being who we are from the inside first, and then translating that onto the outside of our bodies secondly. Being your own kind of beautiful requires you to develop your inner you. know that you are very unique and you should embrace that fact that God who created you do not make any mistakes. The beauty of all is being humble enough to know you are not better than anybody but wise enough to know that you are different from the rest.
How would you describe your fashion style?
I would describe my style as a soft lifestyle and a queen you can't touch. I wear something that's calm I don't wear too much bright colors my colors are black, nude, brown, white, green, etc I love dressing up just to take pictures I enjoy change outfits. I mostly wear fitted dresses and denim pants.
Who or what inspires you?
I am inspired by the future me. What I do now and the choices I make for myself will be my future and I want to look back and say “you did it”.
What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?
My number one advice I would give is go beyond your fear try to recognize your strength Being a model involves hyper focus around your appearance. However, beauty is subjective, and you never know what someone will find beautiful about you. You can reflect confidence in your body language, which can affect how other people perceive you. The modeling world is full of rejection, and it can be easy to take that rejection personally. You need to keep in mind that you have something unique to offer. Presenting yourself as a confident person can play a big role in becoming a successful model. You need to be consistent and put in the work.
Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that’s has change or shaped you.
Some obstacles that I have overcome is living life it my comfort zone. I grow up staying to myself and just blocking everything and everyone out my life because I was so stuck in a black hole where I was just tired of being rejected by everyone and everything I do. But I started to find my light when I started to have confidence and self love it was the best feeling. And I started to become more happy with myself and positivity start to roll in my life. I start to surround my circle with good people.
What makes you beautiful/handsome?
My beauty comes from the confidence in me and the kind heart I have towards people. But most of all being humble and the light I bring in peoples life.
What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?
You need to take your time on what you are doing what is destined to be yours will be yours. Everyone is not perfect everyone makes mistakes all the time so take it easy on yourself. Please don't let social media make you feel like you need to accomplish all your goals in a short amount of time. Slow and steady wins the race, consistent effort everyday adds up and create results. Lack of patience creates pressure and stress. Sometimes you have to remind yourself that you're something special. That you can't be replaced. Your heart, your mind, your conversation, your care it can’t be replicated by anyone.
