Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)

I’m 21 and from Brooklyn, NY! I have a background in gymnastics and also sing a bit on the side, but modeling has my heart.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I used to model when I was younger so about 5-9 years old but stopped. I got back into modeling as of recently when I did LAFW with The Model Experience and had a really cool photo shoot in downtown LA. Ever since then, all I eat, sleep, and breathe is modeling.

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to be able to inspire girls and boys of all ages and let them know that it doesn’t matter what you’ve been through, all that matters is where you’re going. I’ve been through a lot just to get to where I’m at in life right now so I want others to know that even from the struggle, you can make it big.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Honestly, being your own kind of beautiful is just being yourself! It sounds cheesy, but it’s true. Do what makes you happy and what makes you feel right.

How would you describe your fashion style?

I would say that my fashion style is pretty 90s inspired or neutral/nude palette when I want to feel fancy.

Who or what inspires you?

My mom, she’s my rock. She’s my biggest fan and everything I do is for her. She’s a mom of 5 and we didn’t have a lot growing up, but she always made sure to put us first.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

Just be patient. Not everyone wants to hear that, but it’s something that has to be said. If you get turned down, that’s just making room for someone who would love to have you on their team.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

I don’t come from a lot. I’ve had to work just to get to the point I’m at today, with help along the way of course. I’ve been turned down by jobs many of times and as much as I wanted to give up, I knew there was better. I live by the saying “everything happens for a reason,” and truly believe it has helped me get through my 21 years of life.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

My heart and generosity. If you ask anyone, they’ll tell you that I’m a very generous person. I would give anyone my last dollar if they needed. I don’t like to let people know that I’m struggling or need help because I’m always looking to help others and not wanting them to worry about me.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

To anyone struggling with confidence, you will get there. Try practicing with a friend or family member! It’s okay to mess up, it’s the way of life. Don’t let your lack of confidence hinder you from what you love to do. I was like that for a while when it came to singing in front of people when all I really needed was a little push. It won’t happen over night, but as long you work on it day by day, you’ll get it.
