Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)
I'm from a very small county in Virginia called Brunswick County. I now live near Richmond,VA.
Tell us about your modeling experience.
I started my modeling journey back in 2017 with an organization called AMTC. I learned about the industry and ended up winning the Overall Lifestyle Model competition within the organization. I was scouted by a local runway scout in Richmond for RVAFW in 2018 and have walked in RVAFW for their Spring and Fall show two years in a row before the pandemic. Walking in RVAFW lead to me working with local brands for commercial modeling and also parts modeling. I recently became a published model as me and my husband were featured in VA Bride Magazine with a styled shoot we were scouted for.
What is your biggest dream?
My biggest dream is to become a full time commercial model. I would love to work with big brands such as Target, JCPenny, Walmart, Ulta beauty, etc. I've always dreamed of seeing myself inside of these stores and more.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
Being my own kind of beautiful is being confident in who God created me to be. Being my authentic self and knowing that is enough.
How would you describe your fashion style?
My fashion style is minimalist, girl next door, feminine.
Who or what inspires you?
The woman I needed in my teenage years inspires me. I inspire to be who I needed in the hardest time of my life. Women who are making an impact while being themselves and reaching back to help others is who motivates me.
What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?
My best advice is to know who you are in Christ. When you don't know who you are, you will fall for anything which leads to emptiness, depression, etc.
What makes you beautiful/handsome?
The work I'm continuing to do from the inside out is what makes me beautiful. My beauty comes from within.
What would you say to another guy/girl your age who is struggling with their confidence?
If you're struggling with confidence, get to the root of the voices in your head. Who told you you weren't good enough, smart enough, worthy enough? Also, get to know what God's word says about you and believe what the Word says before all else.
