My name is Diana Misic, I am 23 years old. I was born March 13th 1999. So my birthday was just recently. I am a cultural mix. I am serbian but I was born and raised in Austria and now I live in America. That means I speak 3 languages fluently. Serbian, German and English.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I did a little bit of modeling in Austria. I had different shooting with different photographers and I was also in the Austrian Magazine. (I attached a photo of the page where I am in that magazine) But since Austria is a small country I couldn’t really achieve my dreams that’s why I am here I’m New York now.

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is honestly to turn my passion into my job into work. I love being in front of the camera and I love posing. Another goal of mine is to walk on a runway one day! 

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

It’s not just the look for me. Beauty start from the inside. When you have a good heart then you are beautiful to me. And to have you own opinion and features makes you special.

How would you describe your fashion style?

My fashion style is super diverse! One day I like to dress like a lady. Feminine and elegant. The other day I like to wear streetwise. Old school and casual. In my opinion I can literally wear anything and make myself feel comfortable.

Who or what inspires you?

People who motivate me and tell me that I can do this inspire me. People who believe in me more than I do in myself. People who are positive in life inspire me a lot.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

My advice would be listen to yourself. Listen what your heart wants and what’s your desire. If you can’t stop thinking of becoming a model then start getting out of your comfort zone and show the world that you can do this!

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

My obstacle that I have overcome was that at the beginning people where laughing at me when I said I want to become a model. No one took me serious. First it may sound so unrealistic and superficial but modeling is more than “superficial“. It’s passion for me. One day I just stoped listening to those negative people.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

My kind big heart that I have. I have so much love and passion for people that I love. Also for any people. Being kind to people is a real thing. It is so important. Especially when you become a model you also become a role model.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

It is completely fine if you don’t feel confident enough sometimes. Sometimes you have those days where you don’t feel yourself. But it is important to remember that this is just a phase. You have to get up and remind yourself that you are beautiful from the inside, that’s how you your confidence gets boosted then.
