Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)

I am 35 years old originally from California and moved to Seattle in 2009. I’ve been working in both NYC and Seattle since 2018

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I’ve done mostly runway shows. Africa fashion week Seattle, North America fashion week & NYFW 22 have been my modeling highlights. I’ve also done two editorials for Katana magazine and Japi-culture magazine.

What is your biggest dream?

To inspire others and leave a unique mark on the world of art!

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

To be confident and have belief in yourself that you are special and unique in your own right!

How would you describe your fashion style?

Eclectic. I like wearing what most wouldn’t expect and pushing gender norms through clothing styles!

Who or what inspires you?

My grandmother is my biggest inspiration. Everything I am and have become is because of her.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

Be patient and be yourself. You will always be your best being yourself. Have the patience to know that if you work hard someone will notice you.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

My grandmother took custody of me when I was 18 months old and raised me until I left for college. The sight of her taking care of me and my brother by herself taught me strength and dedication. Her passing in 2019 is still teaching me to have faith that everything will workout and to keep moving forward toward my goals.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

My mind is what makes me beautiful. My heart is what makes me handsome.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence

We are all imperfect beings but we are also 1 of 1. There’s no one else like you on earth and that is something you will always have to fall back on. Being one of a kind is a special trait to have and that’s where your confidence lives. In the simple fact that you and only you are you. Embrace that.
