Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)
I am a 22 year old, born and raised from Whittier, California. I have been a dancer since I was 4 years old. And also have been in pageants and in school for modeling and acting since I was about 9, when I was first scouted. I have forever wanted to pursue it, but figure skating, dance, school, and family took a lot of my time as well. However, I do wish to make my dreams come true because I have such a huge passion for it.
Tell us about your modeling experience.
I graduated from Barbizon modeling in acting, in 2012. Where I studied the ins and outs of runway and print work, how to walk and pose, and anything else that would come from the industry.
What is your biggest dream?
My biggest dream is to become a successful model and actress. And to make a career of it.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
To me this means taking all of your flaws and owning them. Being proud of everything you are, and being confident in everything that you are. From everything to your ethnicity, scars, mistakes, and anything else life has given you.
How would you describe your fashion style?
My fashion style is very girly and chic, but sometimes can be a little bit of a street style. I love everything from prints to baggy jeans and a crop top.
Who or what inspires you?
My oldest brother Lance inspires me. He inspires me because he teaches me that I always need to be hardworking, devoted, and focused on whatever I want to do in life. Because if not there will always be someone else more hardworking, devoted, and focused.
What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?
To stick to your truth and do not let anyone bring you down, because like anything, it can be a tough place.
Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.
I have been through a lot of heart break, whether it be from a boyfriend, family member, or a loss. I have also set my heart on something and have things not turn out the way I wanted them to. And from all of that I have learned to know that redirection is never bad, everything happens for a reason, and to always be strong, because if it is not good it is not the end.
What makes you beautiful/handsome?
My heart. I most definitely wear my heart on my shoulder, and I put people before me. I feel that the world simply needs a lot more love.
What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?
That they have what someone else wants, and confidence is the most beautiful thing that someone can wear.
