My name is Julia Janczak, I am from Chicago Illinois and I am 20 years old. I love to travel and discover new places. I grew up as a dancer but I always had a love for modeling. Right now I am in school to pursue a future in the medical field.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

When I was 12 years old I started doing acting and modeling classes at the Performing Arts Academy in Chicago. Although I loved doing both, modeling was by far my favorite. Unfortunately because of school I had to take a break from the academy. But I’m ready to expand and continue my modeling career with Hannah Noelle Models.

What is your biggest dream?

My dream is to walk in Miami swim week and be able to travel the world with modeling.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Everyone has their own opinions on what they think it means to be beautiful. You need to be confident in yourself and you need to glow in your own skin. Embrace your inner and outer beauty.

How would you describe your fashion style?

I would describe my fashion style as a mix between beachy/classy and sporty/edgy. I love a variety of fashion and I enjoy putting new outfits together.

Who or what inspires you?

My mom inspires me more than anything. She is my number one supporter with everything in life. She reminds me of my strength and beauty everyday. I am the person I am today because of her pushing me to be the best.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

It’s a process and don’t discourage yourself. There will be people that turn you down. You need to stay true to your dreams and make sure you know your worth. Confidence is key. Be yourself and enjoy every moment you are given.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

Anxiety has played a big role in my life and it has caused me to encounter the most obstacles. It has tried to stop me from many things over the course of my life but I never let it. I’m growing everyday and it’s becoming less and less of an obstacle.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

I believe that what makes me beautiful is the heart I have for others. Remember you need to embrace your inner beauty just as much as your outer beauty!

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

Self-love is very important and not the easiest thing to obtain. But if you know what you are worth then you already have all the confidence you need. Be who you are and you will shine every time you walk into the room.
