Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)

Hi!  I'm Ella, born and raised in Southern California. I'm 15 years old.  I love riding horses, physical fitness, roller skating, and spending time with my family.  I did competitive baton twirling for 5 years where I gained a lot of balance and poise. If I am not swimming, you will find me out volunteering at our local horse rescue.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I first became interested in modeling during my years as a baton twirler.  Part of the competition was a modeling criteria, and I gained so much experience from the walk and the body language required.  I have collaborated with a local photographer to help build her portfolio and in the process realized that I needed to start my own!

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to become the face of a major cosmetic or beauty company.  I would be so blessed and lucky to be able to travel the world and immerse myself in the beauty that surrounds us.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Being your own kind of beautiful means staying true to your values and who you are.  It means never forgetting that your true beauty comes from within.

How would you describe your fashion style?

My fashion style is pretty eclectic. I can go from horse riding breeches to athleisure, to a little black dress in an instant!  I do follow the trends; but, am always looking for comfort and basics.

Who or what inspires you?

My Dad is my biggest inspiration.  He is a firefighter and has taught me to go out and strive to be the best I can be. And has shown me that being selfless towards others is a true gift.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

My advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling is to please don't give up on your goals and dreams.  Give yourself grace and be real.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

I am a survivor of a combination of compression syndromes that together effect about 3% of the world's population.  I lived on a feeding tube for four months before I had life saving surgery.  My arteries were squeezing my intestines so much that I could not eat. My left renal vein was compressed so much that it stopped sending blood to my left kidney.  I now live with a three inch vertical scar on my abdomen. By the Grace of God, and my gifted surgeons I am here today.  I would not say that I have changed; but, at my young age I have gained resilience and strength to tackle any struggles ahead.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

My outward strength and charm shows my beauty and how genuine I am.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

To a girl my age who is struggling with confidence, I would tell her that I believe in her.  I would listen, and I would tell her that it's okay.   It's important to accept yourself for who you are, and choose your right path, even if that path is different from the one that other people are taking.  You be you!
