Tell us about yourself:

Hii! My name is Dina B. I was born in New York , grew up in Morocco and then moved to Florida at the age of 16, then I decided to move to New York , it’s been about couple months ago now , to grow in my career and improve myself since there are a lot more opportunities for modeling here. I love horseback riding, ice skating, meeting new people , traveling, and enjoying the world !

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I took classes for modeling in 2020 , started doing Photoshoots, worked on runways and I competed in a beauty pageant.  I was part of the NYFW which was an amazing experience , I also was able to make it on time squares billboards and that was a dream coming true !

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to become a successful international model , also a great fashion designer, I would love to have my brand all over the world so that everyone would be able to taste my style and show the world that no matter how hard it could be to get where you want to be , YOU can make it happen !

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

To be your own kind of beautiful to me means to fully be yourself ,the only thing you will need is to be CONFIDENT and feel happy for the person who you are !

How would you describe your fashion style?

My fashion style normally depends on the weather and my mood, but for the most part I would say that I love to dress up and I love the glam / Classy look a lot !

Who or what inspires you?

Myself and my motivation inspires me to keep going and seeing myself improving and watching how close I can get to my goals on every step I take.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

BE CONFIDENT and CONSISTENT !!  Always have in mind that it’s okay to be reject just don’t ever give up and keep trying until you get there ! That’s the advice I would give to every person I can say it to , not only for models but to everyone ! Don’t be shy to ask models who have more experience, photographers, or any person who knows about this industry for tips and advices.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence? & Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

If a person is struggling with their confidence I would love to tell them , no matter how you are and what you do , people will always talk , good and bad , don’t ever do what people say , you can listen to them and then decide if you want to take the advice or leave it . If you feel like you’re gonna improve yourself by doing what they said go for it , but if it’s gonna put you down don’t even think about it and just ignore it ! Do what you like , follow your heart and your dreams , you live for yourself! Do what makes you happy ! If modeling is your favorite thing to do in life “like me “ , then that’s what you should focus on !  [[You’re too skinny , you’re too fat, you’re too short , you won’t make it , that industry is soo hard and there is a lot of competition, nobody will notice you , don’t come back disappointed, you should find something else to do , you’re not good enough to be a model ...]]

I know that a lot of us heard some of this words at least couple times , unfortunately sometimes it may even come from your closest people which makes you doubt and question yourself.

Let me tell you guys something from my experience, I’ve heard them a lot , at the beginning I wasn’t confident, I cried , got sad ... BUT I never gave up ! I build my confidence between me and myself , I started loving and appreciating every step I do moving forward!

Those words became my motivation and made me 100 times stronger.

I started focusing more on modeling , I even left most of my loved ones in Morocco, and the family I build in the past 5 years in Florida , and I took a big step in my life and moved to New York to do what I love. Once you have a goal in your mind only YOU can either work on it and achieve it , or give up and lose it.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

I think what makes me beautiful is the way I carry myself and how I love myself. Beauty for me is when you see yourself in the mirror and feel good about it.
