Tell us about yourself
My name is Caydence L; I am from Kansas City, Missouri. I recently moved to Punta
Gorda, Florida July 2020. I am 19 years old and attend college in Florida. I am a pre-professional biology major, and it is my first year. Although it is my first year, I have
attained my associate degree and high school diploma (of course). On top of being in school full-
time, I also work full-time at Victoria’s secret.
Along with this, I am part of the basketball club at my school. Some of my hobbies are
working out, photography, and sewing. I have always wanted to be a model, and now I am
signed with Hannah Noelle Models, my dream can become true!
Tell us about your modeling experience
I currently have no experience as a model but open to suggestions when I’m doing
something wrong. I’m hoping that I have signed up with an agency, I can learn all the tips and
tricks to being a successful model for the company.
What is your biggest dream?
My biggest dream is to become a physician assistant. I aspire to help those in need and
that is why I am a pre-professional biology major. I want to get into Physician Assistant school
after I attain my bachelor’s so I can go after one of my biggest dreams. Along with this, another
dream I have always had is to become a model. As a kid, I always dreamt of it. I always dreamed
of the idea of walking on runways, red carpets, etc., and getting to dress up 24/7. I love the idea
of being able to travel the world as well, and I think it would be exciting to meet so many new
people.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
To be your kind of beautiful I believe you must be your true self. I think for people to see
your kind of beautiful you must find something that sticks out to others; whether that is kindness,
helping others, or spreading love to individuals who need it most. To be your kind of beautiful
you must be your person; you must be strong, independent, confident, and know you are a good
person. People see the beauty in those that treat people with respect, kindness, etc. Your
character is what truly makes you stick out and makes you look beautiful inside and out.
How would I describe my fashion style?
I would describe my fashion style as casual/classy. I always love pairing jeans with a cute
crop top, or something simplistic. Wearing simplistic things can go a long way by showing
minimal effort. Sometimes I love dressing up in skirts (especially in the fall). I am open to trying
new fashion trends because I like to see what I can do with my style. My favorite season for
clothing is the Fall because of all the flannel materials/prints. I love being able to wear sweaters
with skirts or mom jeans. Sometimes I will wear flare leggings and a crop top for days I feel like
being comfy but also make it seem like I am putting effort into my outfit.
Who or what inspires you?
My dad is someone that inspires me. The reason being is that he is a hard worker, and it
shows in the work he does. He has always been a natural leader. Another thing is, he has gone
through a lot of adversity and has been able to surpass that adversity. You wouldn’t even think
he has been through the kind of stuff he has because he is very good at hiding it. He is good at
making sure you are doing okay before he even gets a chance to think about himself. He seems
hardcore but is a true teddy bear on the inside. He would do anything for the people he loves
which is someone I want to be in the future.
What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?
I am currently new to this area, but the best advice I can give is to dive into it headfirst.
Erase away all the fears you have of joining a model agency. For dreams to come true, you must
get into them and start doing what you have always wanted to do. I also recommend researching
who the modeling agencies are, so you know they aren’t scams. This is an important key. I made
sure to do my research before picking modeling agencies to sign up with. Also, make sure you
find one that feels like the best fit for who you are.
Describe some obstacles in life
One obstacle I have had in my life is moving in the middle of my high school years. I
moved to Florida during my junior year of high school, and it was extremely tough due to covid.
Nothing was open, and everything was online. It was tough trying to make new friends, but I
found out who I was as a person. I found out my interests without peer pressure. I was able to
figure things out independently. If you can make decisions without dependency on others, you
can be a stronger-minded human. Another obstacle I have had recently is a breakup. I know
many people have breakups and understand the feeling of it, but it has shaped me into a stronger
person as well. I tried to move past the pain while feeling the intensity of my emotions. I have
recently been going over how I can change as a person or change how I am doing things in my
life. I have learned to not be codependent with a significant other.
What makes you beautiful?
I think something that makes me beautiful is my smile. I always hear people telling me I should
smile more because it makes me look more confident and sweeter. Another thing I believe that
makes me beautiful is that I try to treat everyone with kindly. I try to show kindness by doing
things for others, whether that is giving something to someone who needs it more than me or
making sure people feel included. I always try to check on other individuals to be sure they are
doing ok.
What would you say to someone struggling with confidence?
I would tell them they are beautiful/handsome, and they shouldn’t listen to another person
tell them they aren’t. I would let them know if that person doesn’t think they are
beautiful/handsome they may need glasses because they don’t know who they are looking at. I
would tell them beauty is within our personalities too. I would tell them to try and think more
positively so their mindset can change about how they view things. I think when we think
negatively, there will be negative results. I think it is important to be positive and always have a
smile on your face.
