Hi there! I’m Alexandra. Originally from Long Island, Ny I currently live in Central Florida. Aside from modeling I find interest in the beauty industry and fine arts. Ethnically, I’m Salvadoran and Irish.
Tell us about your modeling experience.
Modeling caught my attention about 3 years ago while I was originally pursuing acting. My modeling experience has been amazing as it pushed me out of my shell and allowed me to find extra confidence within myself. I’m so thankful for my journey, it’s allowed me to meet so many wonderful people and put me in situations outside my comfort zone to help me grow!
What is your biggest dream?
My greatest dream is to influence others through the modeling industry and make people feel beautiful through my own business in the beauty industry.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
I’m in love with the quote “Be your own kind of beautiful”. Through my interpretation, it means to embrace the beauty within you. It’s very easy to get lost in a rabbit hole of society’s standards and forget that everyone is not meant to look the same! Each person is uniquely gorgeous and deserves to embody their beauty to the fullest.
How would you describe your fashion style?
I’d describe my fashion style as casual with fun accessories. I love playing with colors and fun shapes in my outfits.
Who or what inspires you?
My own goals inspire me. After reflection and seeing how far I’ve come, it makes me proud of my hard work-dedicated to continue.
What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?
My advice is to never give up! Most of the time, it’s a slow process and may seem overwhelming. Practice as much as possible and get extremely comfortable in front of a camera. It’s okay to become aware and know all of your good angles!
Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.
I struggled largely with confidence issues at a younger age. Being able to find self love is such a beautiful & freeing moment. I now look back at the person I’ve become and understand my ability to grow for the better.
What makes you beautiful/handsome?
I believe my confidence, positivity, and self care routine makes me most physically beautiful.
What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?
Confidence is self love. I’d tell someone struggling with confidence to treat themselves like someone they adore. It’s easy to compare yourself to others rather than invest in yourself. Finding confidence through self care is the key, babe!
