Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)
I’m from Salt Lake City, UT and love it here so much being 24 and loving my career and life itself!
Tell us about your modeling experience.
I’ve done things from UTAH fashion week, magazines, runway shows, to company work I’ve had 10-11yrs of the best experience and take my career, time and life seriously being a model, I’ve been on covers, I’ve meet amazing talented people in the industry and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon!
What is your biggest dream?
To walk in NYC Fashion week, Paris Fashion week and to become my very own best model their is from Utah, to show being petite WON’T stop Me from succeeding!
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
Learning to accept your scars on your body, accepting you’ve made mistakes and turning those mistakes into loving yourself as you are, as a model it took me time to accept those things and how short I was but now I plan on ruling the world with who I am!
How would you describe your fashion style?
Anything basically, I’m all into the fashion world!
Who or what inspires you?
Timothee Chalamet (actor) I love his work, who he is mainly tho is what has motivated me he’s one of the best too movie actors and yet he’s taught that no matter how successful you are to remember where you came from, to not let Ego go to your head and to enjoy the hard work you do as it’s the journey that you should enjoy. Beyoncé is another one as a black woman I take my melanin history seriously is Beyoncé is someone I look up to with confidence and how to love my body!
What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?
As someone who’s done fashion weeks, magazines and etc my BIGGEST advice is this, DON’T listen to anyone. I’ve been told many countless times how ugly I am by agents and etc yet I'm on cover of magazines and etc I don’t let negative comments get to me in this industry and refuse to take them personally. YOU gotta stick to your guns and follow through with what you want in life, if you let it get to you you’ll never succeed.
Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.
Being a sexual abuse survivor has changed the way I see things, talk to people, see people and trust people. Im slowly getting over it and seeing that I deserve to love myself no matter how bad it feels, I should know that my PTSD can’t hold me down, stop me or knock me down from this career I love!
What makes you beautiful/handsome?
Learning to love myself.
What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?
Accepting it, once you accept who you are you’ll begin to notice nothing else about anything confidence wise matters, once acceptance is done the rest will follow.
