Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)

Hi everyone! My name is Lexi, I am 22 years old and an interesting fact about me is that I am not only a Model I am a recent graduate in Fashion Merchandising who lives on a nature horse retreat farm outside of Boston, MA.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I went to Barbizon Modeling School in middle school which created the ambition for me to build my confidence and become a commercial/lifestyle model. I took a break and focused on  attending college. During that time, I did hair shows and collaborated with many photographers to build my portfolio eventually becoming signed to a Boutique RI Agency.

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to become a high-end Fashion model and influencer that will shift industry standards of modeling through self expression, confidence and body shape.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Beauty to me is represented from the inside out by the essence of who a person is and how they express and capture moments.

How would you describe your fashion style?

As a graduate in Fashion Merchandising and Retailing I learned that my style is flexible based upon the different aspects of my self in relation to what my clients needs are. I love to accessorize with jewelry and shoes. I often customize my own outfits to express how I am feeling or what I want to convey.

Who or what inspires you?

My mom has always encouraged me to be the best version of my self. She is a women's empowerment coach who worked in the fashion industry and taught me to be grounded in who I am. This has helped me to be my own person and treasure the gifts, talents and abilities I bring that are uniquely mine.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

When I started out I was not nearly as confident as I am today. I learned to have courage to move past my fears and insecurities. My advice to someone starting out would be to take the steps to move toward what you desire and be ok with navigating the unknown.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

I have always had a love for nature and the arts. Growing up in the horse industry I was challenge by the competitive environment and lack of resources to compete with top show horses. I took a simple approach by focusing on the relationship between my pony blu and myself. To that experience, I overcame the barrier of entry in the show circuit and placed 11th out of 27th in New England among the most expensive and well trained competitors. This made me realize that with hard work and determination anything is possible.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

I've been told that I shine brightly and am upbeat, outgoing and approachable with a fun loving attitude. I am grounded in who I am and what I want out of my life.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

To focus on what you desire, stay centered on you and not others, and have the courage to move past your fears one step at a time.
