Hi my name is Bella Blick and I’m from New York, I’m attending the Fashion Institute of Technology and I’m majoring in Fashion Business! I’m 18 years old and I was a competitive gymnast for 6 years! 

Tell us about your modeling experience. 

I have taken runway classes for a few months when I first realized my love for modeling. I have done a photoshoot in December and a sunflower photoshoot last summer. 

What is your biggest dream?

Honestly I don’t know! But I do know I want to do something extraordinary… something that people will remember me for! 

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Being your own kind of beautiful means loving yourself no matter what anyone else looks like! Everyone was made differently so we have to embrace those differences because they make us unique!! 

How would you describe your fashion style?

I would say my style is a mix of business casual and trendy! 

Who or what inspires you?

The positive and body inclusive changes being made in the modeling industry.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

Never compare yourself to anyone… you aren’t to short, to big, or to small. You can do any type of modeling you want, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

When I first started gymnastics I was told I would never become anything. But by the time I had stopped, I had 2 team state titles and multiple individual state and regional titles! I learned that if you want something bad enough you can have it, as long as you work hard enough for it. 

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

My positive attitude towards life!

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

Everything we see on the internet is edited and posed! Instagram is a highlight reel of everyone’s best moments… don’t compare yourself to those pictures! And remember everyone is beautiful in their own unique ways!
