My name is Jordanna. I am 19 years old, from Vancouver British Columbia! 

Tell us about your modeling experience. 

My modelling experience has been incredibly fun so far. Being in the industry, you learn so much so fast and overall how to be more confident. Since I’ve started modelling, I’ve gained more confidence in who I am. It’s taught me how important it is to love yourself and be yourself. 

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to travel the world. Whether that be through modelling or a different career path I take, I would love to visit my family in Europe and have the opportunity to learn about more ethnicities and cultures. 

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful? 

Being your own kind of beautiful is being yourself from the inside and out. Be confident in the person that you are and don’t let anyone make you think different. 

How would you describe your fashion style?

I love streetwear. Something that stands out with a  graphic print, some 90’s oversized jeans and a cool pair of sneakers. I also love a modern chic look. Something monochromatic with gold jewelry. It totally depends on the occasion! 

Who or what inspires you? 

My older sister. Growing up I’ve always looked up to her. She taught me so much about fashion, beauty, trends, and has been my biggest supporter through everything. Love her to pieces. And of course, Bella Hadid. 

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

Be patient. Modelling comes with practice and patience, and the more you practice and just be yourself, it will come naturally. Have fun with it! 

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you. 

Growing up, I’ve seen loved ones around me suffer with debilitating illnesses. I wake up every morning grateful for my health and for having my family with me today. 

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

My confidence and empathy. I love caring for people and overall just putting a smile on someone’s face. 

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence? 

Every single human on this earth is different from one another. Being unique is special, and just embrace who you are because there is only one of you.
