Hey i’m Abryelle Cushing but you can just call me el! I am an eighteen year old fashion model based in Atlanta, GA/ Los Angeles, CA. 

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I started modeling over a year and a half ago after attending 6 months of modeling classes. over the past 6 months i’ve worked with many Atlanta photographers who i honestly believe helped me get to where i am today and i feel so grateful towards them today! I can’t wait to keep working in this industry and with hannah noelle models!

What is your biggest dream?

One of my biggest dreams is to walk in NYFW and LAFW along with designing and creating my own line of clothing, working with top brands like Nike, Guess, CK and more. 

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Being your own kind of beautiful to me comes with how you present and carry yourself. Honestly, confidence is something that matters so much in everyday life. 

How would you describe your fashion stye?

My fashion style comes in waves some days i’ll be more into colorful street style and others i’ll be feeling something more clean and elevated. I LOVE heels I think the right heels can absolutely complete an outfit! I also make sure i’m including gold accents and my diamond rings. 

Fashion and art. As a child i would always make clothes for my dolls. At first, it was out of paper then, it was fabric and i still love designing clothes and painting so much. Fashion and art have so much influence on the world around us. You can just feel the emotions through the work and it’s beautiful when you really learn to appreciate it!

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

Do not stop working towards what you want!!

Always remember to hold ur head high it might feel like it’s slow going at first but all the hard work will be so worth it!! 1000% recommend it if you’re a people person and comfortable with cameras. You’ll never regret it being a part of your life.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

As a victim and advocate of sexual assault and abuse i feel like it’s something i worked hard to overcome. I was sexually abused from age 11-13 and then assaulted at age 14 and 16 and i stayed quiet for years about each of these situations because i was so afraid of no one listening or being blamed for how i was hurt but i learned to always speak up when i’m uncomfortable with a situation. Because of this i don’t want to see anyone else suffer with this and i don’t want to see anyone else get away with hurting someone in that way i will always stand with victims and be a safe place for them to tell their story.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

Everyone always tells me it’s how i carry myself but i used to always struggle to see what other people saw in me until recently when i started to love myself and learn that self love is really one of the most important things to have it’s something no one can take away from you. 

What would you say to another guy/girl your age who is struggling with their confidence?

When you stop letting negative people’s opinions effect you, you will gain so much more confidence in yourself.
