Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)

I am 19 years old, born in Brazil but residing in Seattle, Washington. I am nearly trilingual and am graduating next year with my Bachelor’s degree already. I love pretty much all sports and am always open to new ideas!

 

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I had started modeling right before COVID, but I was lucky enough to have done some jobs. After spending $3,000 or so on silly agencies to try and start my career, I was unable to go on any trips due to COVID and then got scammed and lost $950 – long story. Most would call me crazy, but I kept trying anyway. I was able to do a commercial for Muckleshoot Bingo Casino, a hair photoshoot for Salon Tagua, and a promotional shoot for HoneyJun Kombucha. 

 

What is your biggest dream?

I wanna start by saying modeling is my biggest dream. More broadly though, my biggest dream is just to be known by the world. I have always known I was meant to be something great and I have so much love to share that I want to do something big. My biggest dream is to make a positive and impactful change. To save and change lives by the masses.

 

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

To be your own kind of beautiful is really to just feel comfortable with yourself. To know the parts you love and don’t and be able to accept that because beauty is always from within first. Once you love yourself you can do anything. 

 

How would you describe your fashion style?

My fashion style is definitely more of an edgy streetwear type of style regurlary, but really I love everything. Fashion is a beautiful way to portray who you are and how you feel and its hard to choose just one style! I base it more off of my mood for the day or occasion!

 

Who or what inspires you?

I’ve never really had a role model or someone who inspires me. I have always been more inspired by emotions – like love. Love inspires me because its one of the most powerful things in the world. It is what starts change and brings people together. If I can share that and show people how powerful it is we can achieve everything and anything. 

 

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

My advice to someone who is just starting is to just do it. Do whatever it is your heart is telling you because you never know what will happen. I never thought I would be where I am and that is because I decided one day to do something about it. Also never forget that you are worth it, because the casting directors or whoever would not have chosen you if you weren’t perfect for the job. Believe in yourself. 

 

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

Being part of a family who moved every few years I have never had a steady home, money, or lifelong friends. I had started working to buy my own things at 14 and needed to hustle to keep up with responsibilities. While giving up and going to school and working my 9-5 would have been easier, I knew within I was made for more. I realized I was the only one with power to dictate my life so I used that drive to make my money and go to school and get myself to where I wanted to be – there were no other options for me. 

 

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

While I might be beautiful on the outside, I think what really makes me beautiful is who I have become on the inside. I am loving and caring and forgiving. I am open to new ideas and I see other people and I think that is more beautiful than my teeth or dimples or body. 

 

What would you say to another guy/girl your age who is struggling with their confidence?

If you are lacking confidence, remember what has helped me – beauty is all about perspective. We see beauty in others so easily that we forget to look and admire ourselves. You were chosen for a reason. Do not let anyone else decide things for you because if you think you are beautiful, then nobody else can tell you otherwise. Find things you love and focus on that and everything else will be easier to love.
