My name is Aly Korin, from Detroit Michigan. I'm a model, beauty influencer, brand ambassador, private fashion stylist, self taught professional makeup artist and public figure. Im highly skilled in anything I put my mind too.  When im in an overwhelming situation I turn  it into a positive aspect and make the best out of it. Ive been a freelance model from the start of my career at age 13 until 23 years old where I eventually got signed to a few agencies. I am an Editorial Model and as that title holder you must be confident in anything you do- as I am. I have lots of hobbies, I'm a certified EKG Tech, current part time pre med student and soon to be MD.

Tell us about your modeling experience. 

Within the last 10 years, I've been in a few Independent Movies as extras, Ive walked in selective runway shows as well as  collaborated with artist, stylist and directors for local projects. I work with Michigan boutiques as their brand ambassador or influencer. I teach beauty and self confidence styling classes to help others build their confidence as well as finding their own astetic. I do provide makeup classes where I teach models how to come 'casting ready'. I once was chosen to work behind the scenes to help bring in models for a local agency. And I am currently taking acting classes at the Barrow Group to further my career in the industry.

What is your biggest dream?

This is the part where I smile really hard as I type this, I will be a supermodel one day, I will have the best walk in the industry and I will own a Pro Industry establishment to help upcoming and profesional  artist (models, actors,photographers etc) build their work across the nation and accomplish their goals. I am the person that speaks affirmative, im here to keep your confidence  up when you're feeling discouraged. I believe in anyone as long as they show me they believe in themselves and those are the people who will work with me in the future. 

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Being your own kind of beautiful is accepting whatever you have, no matter if its a penny or hundred dollar bill and turning it into gold.

How would you describe your fashion style?

My sense of fashion is unlimited, there's no rules. Sometimes Im dressed as if paparazzi is waiting at my door, other times my attire can range from CEO, presidential, to urban streetwear. I adapt easily so I always stay ready.

Who or what inspires you?

I am my biggest inspiration as I've watched myself grow overtime , I never allowed myself to become a product of my environment. In 2019-2020 I lost both of my best friends  within 6 months apart. They played a major role in the beginning of my career. When I used to cry , when I wanted to quit they pushed me to strive harder, they were my only audience in the beginning and I know they're still watching me, nonetheless cheering me along the way. 

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

My advice to anyone pursuing anything in the industry in general is to do your research first , knowledge is key ! The last thing you want to do is try something you're not educated on.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

I’ve overcome my depression, anxiety, and loss of friends by separating  myself to elevate in life .  I had to spend time alone to make drastic changes around me. When you cope alone you realize its you vs everyone and at that moment you get this crave for a specific type of hunger to become successful. 

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

Everything, my personality, mindset, my ego and the aspect I have on life. Im a caring and loving person and I never expect anything in return. I want everyone around me to be happy and successful and that's apart of my happiness

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

Keep your head up, others will try to bring you down because their intimidated by your success and what they see in you that you haven't saw yet. Let your hard times motivate you so you never experience that feeling again.
