Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)

I am from a small town near Wichita, KS! I’m a former competitive cheerleader. Also, I participated in pole vault, soccer, and danceline in high-school! I am outgoing, adventurous, and spontaneous person. I love to travel. When I have free time I like to do yoga or pilates! Also, I enjoy hanging out with my girls and living life to the fullest.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I just recently started modeling. I went to New York to attend Coco Rocha Model Camp! That was my first time modeling ever and I learned a lot from Coco herself. I am from a small town and there is no agents near my area therefore, I have collaborated with a photographer and we have had a couple of sessions.

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to travel the world and live my life with no regrets. I want to become a supermodel and start my own fashion line!

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

To be your own kind of beautiful is to accept yourself. Learn to love your own flaws. You are your biggest critic and if you learn to love everything about you then no one can touch you. You are beautiful in every single way, you just have to be confident. Also, to treat people with kindness and love.

How would you describe your fashion style?

I have two different styles of fashion depending on my mood! But, minimalist fashion is more the style I am most comfortable. The other style I love is y2k! I fall more towards this style when I want to be girly and different.

Who or what inspires you?

Audrey Hepburn is who inspires me. She is an amazing model, she knows how to show emotions through her pictures and make you feel something and that is the goal in modeling. Also, she is beautiful on the inside and out. She has a kind heart and soul.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

Every rejection is a new direction. Do not get discourage and give up on your dreams. Keep sending in your digitals to agencies until you get a yes back. Also, I got taught this tip at Coco Rocha Modeling Camp and it was to move your shoulders! Keep moving and get into weird poses. Do not always use the same face expression, keep changing it up. Another good tip, is to bring your own music because music will express how you feel.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

My family is a basic small town family. They want me to stay in this town, get married, have kids, and get an office job. Therefore, they have been super judgmental towards my career choice. I have no support in my family and that is hard. But, I am not like them and I have learned to accept the fact I am a city girl at heart. It has been hard to take this journey by myself without my family by my side.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

My personality and kind heart. I am very supportive and positive person. I do not know how many times people have told me I should be a motivational speaker. All I want to see in this world is people to notice how beautiful they are without changing a single thing about them.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

You need to learn to focus on yourself and put everyone else’s opinions to the side. Try manifestation; practice looking in the mirror and repeating “I love myself” “I am beautiful” “I love my body” “Nobody opinions matter expect mine”. Also, try finding a hobby that makes you feel confident and good about your body. For example, working out, yoga, pilates, or mediating. Also, to learn to not care about what people think about you. It is your life, not theirs.
