Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)

I am from Brantley, AL. I am also represented by Premiere Model Management out of Tennessee. Yasmine Dimone is my model name. I enjoy traveling getting to experience the beauty of the world as well as take pictures. I have a camera and enjoy having mini photoshoots with my friends. I recently walked in the Coastal Fashion Week that was held in Daphne, AL. I plan to walk many others and attend more auditions soon to build my portfolio for the future. I am determined and eager to work to become one of the top models.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I started off taking modeling classes at Barbizon in Birmingham, AL for 6 months where I was taught great skills to become a model. I graduated from Barbizon and later did a Barbizon competition in December of 2020. I had got 4 callbacks and Premiere Model Management was one of them. I met with them in Nashville, TN where I took professional pictures to be represented by their agency. They are currently my mother agency. I recently did a Coastal Fashion Week in Daphne, AL which was amazing. I currently am now signed to Hannah Noelle in which I am excited to get to work.

What is your biggest dream?

One of my biggest dreams is walking in the Victoria Show and being a part of Rihanna's Fenty show. I also hope to become a doctor where I will open my own practice.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Being my own kind of beautiful is accepting all of my flaws by loving myself. Loving yourself brings out the beauty and self confidence within you, so therefore what others say won't even phase you. I have accepted who I am and am loving myself from the inside to outside.

How would you describe your fashion style?

My fashion style varies. I have many different ways I dress when it comes down to fashion. I love to dress. It's never really a time you will catch me lacking unless I'm going to bed. I love to dress swaggy. I constantly look up what's trending because the fashion industry style changes everyday! I always have to match so sometimes I will throw my own swag together and make it look really cute. I can dress classy and casual as well. Literally everything I wear I make look cute because that's just me. My dad always could dress soI guess that was inherited in me as well. Looking on Instagram at other models and designer pages really keeps me going and updated on style so my style changed a lot. I know my fashion, so hopefully one day in the future I will become a designer.

Who or what inspires you?

Someone who inspires me would be my sister. She has great dedication and I strive to be as dedicated as her. She sets a goal for herself because she knows she has to set a great example for her little sister who looks up to her tremendously. She starts her day every morning at 4 a.m. in a gym. I inspire to be like her one day because I love her dedication and she knows I'm watching her every move.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

I would greatly tell them to don't get discourage. Don't look at other models and get discourage because they may have been working longer than you and you may never know how long it took them to get notice. At times you may feel like nothing is really going to come in place for you, but be patient. Everyone has a chance to shine someday. Modeling is a huge process that takes time, so be patient. Stay positive and never get discouraged. Continue resubmitting your photos and taking chances at many auditions that are offered to you in order to build your portfolio. Your hard work will definitely get noticed some day!

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

An obstacle that I have greatly overcome was the death of my father. I lost my father when I was 14. That was dad and best friend all in one. The day he died, a piece of me died. At that moment I thought about giving up everything and my mental health had increased tremendously. I then thought how could I be so selfish knowing my father wouldn't want me to be upset over him. With great help, I knew I had to strive to make him proud. I motivate myself every morning to be better than I was yesterday. It honestly has helped me improve a lot.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

Most people can't accept their flaws because of their insecurities. I have finally accepted that this is who I am and was made to be so I find confidence in everything on my body, though I'm more passionate about some way more. Beauty express who you are as a person generally. I'm always a helping hand and I love to involve and help other people. I genuinely have a big heart and would do anything I can to help an individual.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

I would honestly tell them to just be them! Take baby steps in coming out of their comfort zone. Sometimes we get so caught up in our comfort zone and miss many different opportunities. I would tell them to take that big leap. Embrace themselves to install that confidence within them. You will never really know the outcome until you actually try, so why not just take a shot at it. If you fail, try again! Everyone fails at some point in their live but you can never let failure defeat your purpose. Take that big leap.”
