Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)
I am from a small town in east Texas, but I guess you could say I’m from all over! I moved a lot! I’m 19 years old about to be 20! Born on the 4th of July! I love to spend my free time being outdoors as well as playing my guitar and singing my favorite tunes
Tell us about your modeling experience.
As far as modeling experience, I’ve done a lot of shoots for friends and a couple local businesses, overall just been a hobby!
What is your biggest dream?
My biggest dream is to go into ministry and have to opportunity to use my gifts and my story to impact others lives.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
To be your own kind of beautiful means to own who you are and not conform to the social constructs or patterns of the world we live in. When you were formed by your maker, his mindset wasn’t to fit you into the cookie cutter style beauty standards we as humans have made for ourselves. You are you, you are unique, you were made in HIS image. Own that, proclaim that, and Believe that!
How would you describe your fashion style?
My fashion style i would say is, simplistic/minimalist. Love neutrals
Who or what inspires you?
One of my mentors Inez has been with me since high school. She is one of the most inspiring and influential people I have ever met. From her style to her heart for others she has been a huge part in making me the woman I am today!
What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?
Advice I would give to someone, is just get comfortable with your body! Loosen up, own who you are!
Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.
I was bullied a lot growing up for my weight and just my overall awkwardness. Which lead to depression and self hate. All of that drove me to lose over 100 pounds which I thought would fix everything right?! Wrong! It wasn’t until I realized who my creator is and how he sees me. Once I started to walk in that truth I was able to start loving myself! That’s not to say I don’t struggle but when I know who I am and I knows whose I am and stand firm in that!
What makes you beautiful/handsome?
Well we have the surface level stuff, the red hair, blue eyes, long legs, but all that to say I think what makes me beautiful is my strength and persistence to keep going no matter what comes my way.
What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?
I would tell anyone struggling with confidence that one it’s a daily battle no one is exempt from that struggle no matter how rich, beautiful, or successful a person is everyone has that one thing. Second own that insecurity or if will own you! The power of life and death is in the tongue the words you speak over yourself are what you begin to believe about yourself!! Gas yourself up girl!
