Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)
I am from California born in San Francisco and raised in Oakland. I am 23 years young and working to defy the odds.
Tell us about your modeling experience.
Since I was a child I’ve always loved to be in front of a camera. I went to IMTA 2018! Lately I have been DM’d by upcoming photographers looking to build their portfolio. As well as, up coming clothing brands looking for models to help them gain professional experience.
What is your biggest dream?
To be financially free and doing what I love. Modeling, traveling, influencing others to go after their dreams, start on a healthy lifestyle, defy to odds of not being successful!
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
I have always strived to be different and be me! I love me and the way I look. I don’t want to look like no one but me. I’ve learned to love my shape, dips, and lumps. We are human no one is perfect!
How would you describe your fashion style?
Wow, I am all over the place when it comes to fashion. Honestly I get dressed depending on my mood everyday. I love things people won’t wear. Patterns, texture, layers, long lengths, dark colors on my gloomy days, bright colors in the middle of the rain. I love expressing myself through clothes.
Who or what inspires you?
My mentors in my CBD Health & Wellness Business inspire me. To see people that come from nothing and use Gods gift to make something out of their lives. It’s amazing to be apart of something bigger than myself.
What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?
Get dressed, get cute, and take some pictures. Work on posing and learn your angles!
Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.
I lost my Nana (grandmother) 2 weeks before my son was born. It’s was a season of new life beginning and old life ending. I had to accept my reality very quickly. It made me even stronger because the love I had for my Nana transferred to my baby. I had no time to grieve, so instead of felling sorry for myself I conditioned myself to speak happiness and positivity onto myself. My Nana was tired and to know she’s in a better place gave me peace to continue life and go even harder towards my goals and aspirations.
What makes you beautiful/handsome?
My smile an my hair, I love to see me smile and my hair in its natural state!
What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?
Y’all better find the best parts about yourself and learn to love it! Do NOT care what anyone has to say, if you have people hatin on you. Means your doing something right!
