Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)
I am 29 years old and originally from a small town called Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. I  hold a Bachelors in Nursing from Penn State University and currently work as a traveling surgical nurse in Seattle, Washington. I am also a professional downhill mountain biker and am lucky enough to get to race all over the world! When I'm not riding or modeling you can find me surfing, hiking, and training at the local CrossFit gym.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

Always a performer, I got my start modeling through creative shoots promoting sponsors in my career as a Professional Downhill Mountain Biker. What started as a hobby soon became a passion and am now enjoying modeling more intently!

What is your biggest dream?

To race on the US World Championship Team and inspire other women to be bold and live their life with passion.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
There are so many ways to define beauty and I think the way to do this is to find whatever it is about yourself that makes you shine, and live that unapologetically.

How would you describe your fashion style?
All or nothing! I tend to go to both extremes with my fashion style. When I am mountain biking I can often be found wearing muddy moto pants and a loose tank top (frequently covered in mud as well!). On the other hand when I go out with friends I like to turn heads and wear something that makes a statement. I like to toe the line between classy and edgy.

Who or what inspires you?
I am very fortunate to have friends from all walks of life who inspire me every day. I like to surround myself with people who live their truth and chase after what they want for themselves and others.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

Just go for it! One of the truest statements I've heard in life is that you will always regret the things you didn't do more than the things that you did. I wanted to model for years but didn't believe that I had what it takes and definitely wish that I would have started sooner. Don't be afraid to put yourself out there!

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.
I started my racing career at 22, an age when most professional riders are already halfway through theirs. My first race was my 5th time ever on a mountain bike  and I crashed the whole way down but fell absolutely in love with it. I told myself I would race professionally one day and several broken bones, tough losses, tears, and incredibly difficult work later I accomplished that goal. I even surpassed my expectations by going on to qualify for several World Cup races. This taught me that you can set huge goals that seem unrealistic and impossible and then you can surprise everyone, including yourself.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?
I embrace my individuality. I am a bit of a tomboy and I think that a lot of women believe that you have to be tough or pretty, and I'm here to prove that you can be tough AND pretty! I wear who I am proudly and don't change who I am just to fit a mold.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?
Fake it till you make it! This sounds cliche but I don't think I would be anywhere close to where I am today if I didn't do this. No matter what aspect of your confidence you are struggling with- work, appearance, your goals- just go into it pretending that you know you will nail it and it works more often than not.
