Tell us about yourself.

I am 19 years old and I live in Franklin Texas. I am originally from California but moved here when I was 6. I am very outgoing and like adventures!

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I just recently got interested in modeling. I am short so I always just never thought of doing it. I have been to a few workshops but nothing too serious. I usually just have my 7 year old brother take pictures of me to put on instagram but it still helps me build confidence and learn angels! I really enjoy capturing moments where I feel at my best.

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream has always been to be an actress or at least someone where people want to look up to. Ever since I was a little girl I would always say I want to be "famous" but as I grew older, this dream has only stuck with me and motivated me even more to work for it. I find it satisfying being able to play something you are not and experiencing a new character.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Being your own kind of beautiful is different for everyone. I think that everyone carries themselves a different way and that is something so unique. Edited photos, makeup and clothing does not make someone beautiful. Although it is nice to have these things, confidence and understanding your worth are what makes you beautiful.

How would you describe your fashion style?

I would say that my fashion style is definitely pretty casual but girly. It does depend on the day or the mood I am in. I also think social media has been influencing certain aspects of style and drawing me to try new things and experiment in finding what best fits me.

Who or what inspires you?

Well personally, my mom is my biggest inspiration. She has taught me how to overcome the biggest hardships and that things to get better. What inspires me is working hard for something and seeing results. I like to see changes in what I do and the more I do, the more I go.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

Something to realize is that it takes a lot of work and putting yourself out there in different situations. Taking risks is a big part of following what you really want to do. Go into it with a positive mindset because if you don't, you will expect failure and eventually achieve failure.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

Something that has impacted my teenage years is having hormonal acne. It was the biggest obstacle to overcome especially this time where social media grew popular and hurtful things can be said anywhere. I had to learn that what is on the outside does not make me who I am and looking back on how bad if affected my mental health was not healthy. You should never beat yourself up for something that you cannot change. God has a plan and a reason for everything and I believe that without experiencing what I went through, I would not be as accepting and positive as I am now. The little things don't matter.

What makes you beautiful/ handsome?

I believe the way I take care of myself makes me beautiful. I am sure to listen to my body and flood it with positivity daily no matter what. If you do not love yourself then nobody else can and if someone else sees the way you treat yourself then they will follow. Being a leader and staying humble are two things that I believe makes me a beautiful person inside and outside.

What would you say to another guy/girl your age who is struggling with their confidence?

Social media is not the truth and do not ever listen to it. You are not the only one who is hating on themselves for the littlest thing that won't matter tomorrow. Go into the mirror and sing your favorite song and see how much your mood increases and how you feel about yourself improves.
