I am an entrepreneur as well as a model/actress. I am from Los Angeles, CA. 

Tell us about your modeling experience. 

I have been modeling for five years now and all my modeling experiences were fantastic. Being a  model is like being myself. I have worked with many photographers and attended many shoots both  in studios and on set. I have walked the runway for designers and fashion weeks. I always love being a model and I am very proud of myself and all the amazing experience I’ve had. 

What is your biggest dream? 

I have many dreams and aspirations in life. Talking about modeling, my biggest dream is to exceed  my expectations each day and to inspire others positively. 

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful? 

Beauty is not just the characteristics you exhibit or show on the outside; it also reflects your unique  and rare qualities from within. Everyone is beautiful in their own way and being authentic to yourself is always inspirational. Love yourself from every angle and be confident. The uniqueness,  the wisdom, and the beautiful soul create your own kind of beauty. It doesn’t matter how other  view or think of you; you always walk with your head up high because you know how amazing you  are and the potentials you possess. 

How would you describe your fashion style?

Fashion has always been important to me as a model. Style is not only a reflection of one's  personality but also a communication skill without having to speak. My style is versatile and  trendy, and depending on the occasion, my style can completely transform from one to another. I  know my body type and I style myself in a way that compliments me.  

Who or what inspires you? 

Successful women entrepreneurs inspire me the most. They are independent, intelligent, and  always inspiring. Their ability to strive in society and make an impact and change no matter the  challenges they are faced with is worth emulating. 

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling? 

Believe in yourself and stay true to who you really are! A journey of a thousand miles, like a walk  on the red carpet, always begins with a single step from backstage. Not everyone can become a  model but a successful model can come from anywhere regardless of your color, your background,  and the language you speak. And above all, never compromise on anything that will help you  achieve your goal as a model. 

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped  you. 

It is completely normal that struggles arise and we get to experience a shift sometimes in our lives,  but none of them is a life sentence. We have to be thankful for those obstacles that shape you into a  better person. I still remember the heartbreaking moments when I got called for a cast with the role I always dreamed about but couldn't attend because of the time conflict that I made a promise to  another cast long ago. I also experienced a difficult time taking each step in the entertainment  industry as being an Asian-American. However, don't let obstacles stop you. If you run into the  wall, break the wall. Life is too short to backup and a path that is too smooth may not lead you  anywhere. 

What makes you beautiful/handsome? 

I’m beautiful because I am myself and I can’t ask for more.  

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence? 

The first secret to success is believing in yourself. Everyone is unique and beautiful in different  ways. No matter the situation life throws at you, I always try to make the best of it. I’m not saying  it’s easy, but don’t let it get the best of you. There is always a light at the end of the tunnel and you  will come out of the situation stronger, wiser and even better. Never give up on yourself; keep  trying till it works!
