Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)

My names Cassie Speno, I’m 18, and I’m living in Nashville but originally from Chicago, Illinois.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

Besides doing modeling for small photo shoots my friends and I have, I have zero modeling experience. :)

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream would have to be walking the runway in international shows.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Beauty has no limits and no standards, so being your own kind of beautiful means embracing every piece of yourself that makes you who you are.

How would you describe your fashion style?

My fashion style would have to be simple and comfy but also a bit edgy.

Who or what inspires you?

My family and friends inspire me the most, because I have been lucky enough to be surrounded by the strongest people in the world that help me with everything in my life.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

Since I am just started, this is advice to myself as well, but I would say put yourself out there and just be confident.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

I have dealt with a lot of anxiety in my life which has made day to day activities more difficult. Also I have dealt with self-image issues and trying to learn how to love myself in a world where perfection is the standard can be extremely difficult. And although it was hard, I had to go through those times in order to love myself.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

I think what makes me beautiful is simply my ability to be myself and keep a smile on my face. Something I definitely used to hate about myself was my smile growing up but now I can’t help but embrace it and love it!

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

I would say that EVERYONE is going through that. I have never met a person who wasn’t insecure about something. It’s human nature but it’s important to not be too hard on yourself and realize that we are all flawed and imperfect!
