Tell us about yourself 

 Hello, my name is An Done. I am 20 years old, currently living in Indianapolis. I came to the United State at the age of 10 years old as a refugee in hopes of receiving opportunities that are not available in my home country. I was born in Burma. In my free time, I like to spend my time creating new content on TikTok and doing a photoshoot. I also love traveling. 

What is your biggest dream?

As a model, my biggest dream is to walk in New York Fashion Week or for Milan Fashion Week and to really grow my platform as a social media influencer and as a model. I want to inspire my people to reach their goals and dreams. Being a model is not very common among my people so I believe with me being one, I can help others reach their goals. I have a lot of big dreams and I only hope to live them and spread as much love and joy as possible while I’m doing that. 

Tell us about your modeling experience

I started my modeling training at John Casablancas Modeling and Acting Agency 2 years ago. Currently still attending classes there. I did my first runway “beauty in the chaos” fashion show. I did some fashion shows for my chin community event. More to come!!

What are your dream brands to model for?

My dream brands to model for are Louis Vuitton and Gucci.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

We all are beautiful but it means to have a very unique beauty and that's within itself.

 How would you describe your fashion style?

My fashion style is very unique and trendy. Streetwear, and a very classy look.

 What have been your greater accomplishments?

Making progress in the modeling industry. Taking a big step toward my goals. 

 Describe some of the obstacles in life you have overcome? 

An obstacle I had to overcome is when people make fun of my height and will say things like ”aren’t you too short to be a model” or saying I won’t go far in the modeling industry. Even though they say things like that, I don’t let the negativity get to my head, whatever they say I just try to stay positive and try to be better every day closer to my dream and goals.

What would you say to a guy or girl your age who is struggling with confidence?

Everyone has their own unique talents and strengths, you just need to discover them and have confidence in everything you do. Confidence is key and everyone is beautiful in their own way.
