Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)

My name is Madeline Collier, I’m from Kennebunk, Maine but originally was born in Connecticut. I moved to Maine when I was four years old. I’m a very compassionate, kind-hearted, hard-working, and motivated, young woman. I also do whatever I can to achieve my dreams and goals!

Tell us about your modeling experience:

I’ve always been interested in modeling ever since I could remember, I loved being in pictures and having my picture taken all the time. I started a modeling class with Barbizon USA in Boston, Massachusetts. The class was over a period of six months, and one weekend out of each month. The classes taught us everything we needed to know such as how to walk, how to dress for an interview, how to maintain upkeep on personal hygiene, how to do our makeup, how to style ourselves, how to speak for an interview, and much more! After that, I struggled to find a company to sign with so I proceeded to make my own path and do some sponsorships for clothing companies and even PurVida.

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream would be to be featured in Vogue or get to work with a big company.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

To be your own kind of beautiful means to love and accept who you are and who others are as well. Being confident in yourself is the biggest key.

How would you describe your fashion style?

I would describe my fashion style as very versatile, I love experimenting with new pieces and seeing what new things I can find and try!

Who or what inspires you?

Motivation and drive inspire me to keep going and push towards achieving my goals every day.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

My advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling is to be yourself! Don’t compare yourself to other women or men, be you because there’s only one you and that’s the most unique and beautiful thing about yourself.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

I used to have very bad social anxiety, after taking classes with Barbizon USA it transformed my worries into confidence and I’ll be forever grateful for what that has done and continues to do for me.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

I believe beauty has nothing to do with what you look like on the outside, but what you look like on the inside. Having a good soul and heart is what makes someone truly beautiful and I believe having a good soul and heart is my biggest quality.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

My biggest advice is to not compare yourself to others, there’s no one else like you out there so why change that? Being you is the most amazing thing anyone can do!
