Tell us about yourself.
I was born in a small town and grew up on a farm in Nebraska. I am 30 years old. I have a husband and two little girls and I run my own massage therapy business.
Tell us about your modeling experience.
I have been signed with an agency in Nebraska for a little over a year now and I have fallen in love with the Industry. I have done print work for clients such as Oriental Trading Company and walked in various fashion shows including Omaha Fashion Week. I have also recently been published in Vigour Magazine.
What is your biggest dream?
My biggest dream is to be a role model for my daughters and for them to be caring, loving, and confident women.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
The beauty of a person depends on his or her thoughts, actions, and character. Though external beauty has value but our internal beauty dominates it. So in my opinion, being your own kind of beautiful would be to let your inner beauty shine through your character and behavior to win the hearts of those around you. A beautiful smile is a cherry on top!
How would you describe your fashion style?
My fashion style would be a romantic nature. I love bohemian style clothing and being comfortable but fashionable.
Who or what inspires you?
I’m inspired by the people in my life almost daily. One day it might be my hardworking, driven husband pushing me to be my best self. Another day it might be my daughter’s subtlety showing me the important things in life. I am always looking for ways and striving to be a better person. There is inspiration all around us!
What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?
My advice would be to persevere and not give up. The thing is, you have to work hard to get to where you want to be with anything in life. Modeling isn’t any different!
Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.
In life, you are bound to struggle from time to time. All of our experiences and hardships can be woven into a tapestry that is ultimately beautiful and, if we allow it, make us the people we are meant to be. Each hardship has changed my perspective and made me a better more positive person. Everyone is that n a different journey or season in their life, but it is a privilege to have to struggle because, without it, we wouldn’t appreciate the good!
What makes you beautiful/handsome?
It’s hard for me to answer this question about myself but I feel that people can be themselves around me and open up with me easily. I’ve always had deep compassion for people and I really care and listen. I think that’s what has always attracted friends, my husband, and various people in my life.
What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?
Find your unique talents and know what your positive traits are. You will get further in life by nurturing those qualities and being yourself than anything else!
