Hi I’m Karabo Ramasala, 22 years of age originally From South Africa but currently residing in Arkansas. I am a Culinary Graduate who's worked in New Mexico and Now Little Rock. I spend most of my free time in the gym, I'm quite a sports fanatic. I love keeping active and fit, but also enjoy travelling, dancing and trying new things, mainly food since I am a Chef. 

Tell us about your modeling experience. 

I started modeling at the age of 12, was an introverted child so I joined acting and modeling agencies to gain some confidence. My photoshoots were the best part as I love being in front of the camera and goofing off but as time went and I grew older, the industry changed and became tough which led to more competition, less jobs and to many high expectations from the agencies.

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream has always been to be part of Victoria Secret, but also to inspire young girls that no matter how long it takes, because it will be long, dreams will eventually come true.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

There is a saying that goes, beauty lies in the eye of the beholder and as I have mentioned before, it starts from within. So with me I know that I am a humble, bubbly person and thus my internal beauty is reflected on the external.

How would you describe your fashion style?

My fashion style is more tomboy, casual with a bit of sexy here and there. I just like mixing things up to keep my look interesting. 

Who or what inspires you?

My family Inspires me, their hard work, resilience, love and the support I receive from them. The belief they have in me succeeding gives me the motivation to push and work harder and become a better me than I was the day before. 

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

Never give up, succeeding in this industry takes time and don't let anyone demotivate you.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

Moving to a different country away from home was most difficult for me as I had to leave everything and everyone I know behind and go start a new life at the same time try to figure out how to survive on my own. This has made me more responsible and well rounded as I got to know and learn new things I also got the chance to get out of my comfort zone and grow from what I was  to what I'd like to see myself as in the near future.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

What makes me beautiful is how I treat other people, beauty comes from within as the saying says. If you are not a good person, kind, caring than your looks aren't anything. 

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

Believing in yourself and loving who you are is greater than any opinion that anyone has as we were all made in a unique way, always know that you are beautiful, good enough and powerful.
